I'm really wanting to get a hold of a former DOT inspector who could explain everything that goes into their job after an accident, like, did the truck receive all their safety recalls? What if the driver was unable to inspect brakes if their vehicle brakes were not inspect-able because their truck was too low to the ground. Etc... can you refer me to anyone?
Great advice
I just got rear-ended by semi. Total my car. Left arm injuries....don't know what my pay out will be? Semi driver insurance took full blame....
I'm sorry to hear that. That's good that the semi's insurance accepted fault. What state?

I'd encourage you to contact a personal injury lawyer in your state.

Have you tried sending TXDOT a TX Public Information Act request for the info you seek?
What if an 18 wheeler hits and runs. I now have three bulging discs . In my cervical area. I'm a passenger .
Did you see the name of the company on the trailer or get any other information you can use to identify the owner of the truck?
Yes
