@OldePhart This particular IO-Link Master only accepts IO-Link and Digital inputs. We do sell many options for analog measuring devices that will communicate to this part via IO-Link and will give variable feedback in the form of an integer value, similar to an analog device to analog input. This particular part however will not accept a traditional voltage or current analog signal. Thank you for the comment!
@@automationdirect I have noticed that analog conversion is the norm. I'm beginning to see why that is the case. Do you provide AOP's for Rockwell ETH I/P PLCs as well?
@OldePhart we do not have any AOPs for Rockwell PLCs, but since you might be doing an analog to IO-Link conversion anyways, check out our tag-based PLC, the Productivity! It comes with our version of AOP (Library Integration File) for these IO-Link masters pre-installed with the software. The software is free and has a simulator integrated into it, so you can do a lot of programming/experimentation with the family without ever having to purchase anything. See if it fits into your automation plans. (but what in life that is worth doing is without challenges) Having said that, we strongly stand behind our products and have free technical support (including other former AB experts) to help answer questions you have about the software and hardware from the lineup. You can contact them to answer questions without making a purchase as well. I hope this helps. :)
Thank you for the comment. Yes, IO-Link does work well for long distance applications. Make sure to check out more of our videos at www.automationdirect.com/videos/home We have several other IO-Link videos available.
How about 4-20mA Analog signal in and out? Are those somehow supported?

Looks good for sensors long distance away from PLC
