I have a detail that could be taken into account for Confronting Yourself. Before moving on to the final moment of the song, a giant rock blocks Sonic's path. By taking advantage of that, you can make Knuckles to destroy the rock in the good ending. And in the canon and bad ending Sonic breaks the rock with the spindash. I had this idea when I had insomnia at 2 a.m. and thought it would be cool
