expensive case no functionality have to purchase stand additionally... the ports arent covered. after using for years u would notice some spots/marks on the opening on yr iphone.
There is no port protection…that’s true. For a built in stand, you might want to check out the Plasma XTE. And for port protection, the new Cyber Tough cases from ESR come with port protection…
I just ordered the Plasma XTE after watching this review, I believe you’re one of the only RUclipsrs so far covering that specific one lol. Great review! 🙏
Thanks, Christian! The Plasma XTE is really a nice case...UAG did a great job. The stand is convenient and well designed. So happy you found my review to be helpful, and I hope you love your new Plasma XTE!!
Just bought the UAG plyo crystal ice clear case for my yellow 14 looks spectacular. It's a little loose around the volume buttons a little more than I like but then again I am using the iPhone 15 case on the iPhone 14 but it's still a really snug fit on all the corners so not bad got it for $16 at TJ Maxx. Hi @mando-91. Sorry, I thought I responded to your question before. 🤦♀️The magnetic strength of the ring is considerable, but I think the overall result depends partly on the magnetic strength of the magnets of the case as well
Ottimo lavoro UAG.
Hi Pat! Sorry for being slow to answer your comment...I didn't see it somehow. If you are asking about the UAG magnetic ring stand, it is only magnetic on the side which attaches to your phone...
Hi Mary! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!😊 The Civilian is a great case…slim, sleek and with a pleasant amount of grip in the hand. Do you have the Civilian?
What about recommendations for a case with grippy sides, enough grip it won't slide off a trunk/hood, that has a least some lip protecting the camera and front glass, that is not the Defender XT or silicone? I'm currently using the Defender XT on a 15 Pro Max, but it adds almost 1/2" of width/height to the phone, but it's the only thing I've found with grippy sides. I've tried tons of the popular/recommended options, even those called "grippy". If the rubber grip on the Defender XT is a 10, I've yet to find another case that even approaches a 5. Seems like even the cases using softer materials are still quite slippery now, even more-so than they were a couple years ago. Smartfish Gripzilla......it's just dimpled hard plastic.....not grippy at all Spigen Ultra Hybrid, nope even remotely grippy Rebel Clear, slightly grippy and it's still not really grippy, great buttons though! Mous Limitless 5.0......slippery, nice case though Nomad Rugged.....great case, but almost no camera protection and you guessed it, slippery. Speckas Presidio Grip 2......used to be great grip, but the new ones are really slick Zagg Santa Cruz, this one had okay side grip, but zero camera/front glass protection, case stopped flush with both. Torras UPro case, this one is probably the best grip of the lot, but still so far behind the XT, super strong magsafe, but is basically flush with the camera lenses and the sides pull apart super easy.
Hi @gokwolf! Great to hear from you, as usual! And thanks for the suggestion on Caudabe…I’ve heard good things about their products. Thanks again for watching, and have a fantastic weekend!
The cases look nice specially the first one, but I did try this brand before the case from the side buttons is very loose and also expensive , I returned after few days. Thank you for your review and I am just sharing my own experience. Don’t get mad at me.
Hi Marina! Thanks for sharing your experience! UAG redesigned these cases a bit after they were first released…they now have a covered action button rather than just a cutout, and I think the fit on the sides around the button areas is slightly tighter as well. You might want to give them a second look. I do agree that they are on the pricey side, though…especially the Forged Carbon Monarch Pro. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your experience! And enjoy your weekend 😊
Those covers should remove those simulation screws that's why I bought it, it looks ugly, where is that supposed tone simulator, they should improve that finish...
I just got the magnetic ring stand for my black monarch pro carbon fiber case it’s fantastic awesome review
Hi Lee! Totally agree…it’s the best magnetic ring stand I’ve encountered. Super strong magnets and incredibly versatile. Enjoy!!

Thank you for doing this video.
I ordered UAG plasma XTE 😊 such an informative vlog.
Hi Ferdinand! The Plasma XTE has a really convenient design...love that built in stand! Hope you like it too!!
Does the magnetic strength of the ring depend on the case your using or is it strong by itself?

Good point! UAG cases are always very distinct…they have a very clearly defined brand. And they are quality products, for sure! Thanks for watching!!
Hi can this stick on the fridge? Or any metal surfaces?

@@TheTechReviewer Yes I love it got the blue with the black around it and yes it’s nice in the hand and not bulky 🙂
@marymadigan9707 Nice!! Great color combo…enjoy!!

Dbrand grip
Wow those look nice! I think I might get one!
They are nice cases for sure, @cljoe35. UAG makes quality stuff!! Thanks for watching, and I hope you have a great weekend! 😊
Very cool video
Thanks, Ari!! So nice to hear from you, and I really appreciate the support! 😊
I hope we see you review Caudabe cases on this channel as well.

the problem with uag cases is that there are holes next to the side buttons.. which tend to accumulate dust, sweat and particles inside
Yeah, there are definite downsides to that slit button design...
Man that monarch pro was exactly what I was waiting for but phew i do not want to support that price.
I hear you…lovely case, but crazy expensive!! 🤣
I has 15 Pro UAG Monarch Pro Carbon Fiber old .. I need new 15 Pro UAG Monarh Pro and Plasma XTE haha 😂
Those covers should remove those simulation screws that's why I bought it, it looks ugly, where is that supposed tone simulator, they should improve that finish...
I think UAG feels that the screws are part of their 'iconic' look 😊. Not for everybody, though!!
Does the magnetic strength of the ring depend on the case your using or is it strong by itself?
It's very strong in itself...but I think the strength is partially dependent on the magnet in the case or phone as well.
