You are my favourite to watch on youtube regards running, so much passion for the sport … keep doing what you doing, well done on the race and thank you for sharing with us.
Well done Andy, that’s a very strong run in those conditions. Funnily enough that many runners may even have helped - I find picking off lapped runners is better than seeing no one at all in front of you, plus they may have helped block the wind a little bit. Getting that close to the half marathon distance on the Coros in Battersea Park, where watches can struggle to pick up a good GPS signal, is a good ad for them!
Well done! Congrats, but please don't forget to put the mins/km paces up on the screen too. Us in Europe have no idea what your mile times even mean. 😝👍🤔
Thanks! Really sorry, i've compromised with putting the KM splits on half way and at the end... the videos take so long to edit and I dont have too much free time to get them sorted, so have to get done what I can
Thanks buddy. I’ve done it a few times so knew what was coming, just that middle bit that was a bit tight but overall, there’s plenty of space to take a wide birth!
Ahh, Battersea Park, track, many a happy running memories there - in the sunshine though - I so miss being that fit (and young) Certainly did not appreciate it at the time, just took it all for granted, trained hard, but never thought about the time when I'd no longer be able to do it. Enjoyed the video, from the warmth of my sitting room 😂
Thanks buddy! Your comments from the last video stuck with me 👌 appreciate levels are much higher at the moment, I’m making a note to take stock of the situation and appreciate more 👊
Nice one Andy! I did the marathon, and saw you motor past me just after the bandstand loop I think you were on your last lap - you looked really strong. Loads of runners complained about that bandstand loop bit - it was mental, I thought about dropping out on a number of times when going through that bit. You should definitely suggest changing the course to RunThrough.
Thanks! Massive well done on the marathon, such a huge challenge in that weather! That middle bit was the only downside wasn’t it, just a bit too congested
Well done Andy, I braved the weather to run Silverstone Half yesterday and it was horrendous in the rain and driving winds. Still its a wonderful PB route and not i the slightest bit congested. It would have been perfect conditions today!! 😇
Wow Andy! What a fantastic race. Sometimes these damp races are the best for PRs. Sure beats running in the heat. Your training blocks keep adding up and you keep seeing amazing results. I love watching the progress. You continue to inspire me. Also, how did they know you had finished the distance -- just curious how it worked.
Solid performance, great work Andy-Well Done. Got me thinking about catching the bus in the opposite direction for Victoria to Newport next Apr now lol
@TheFODRunner yeah but the coaches don't seem to go round to Westfield, Stratford from Wales. You'd have to mess around on the tube adding to an already long journey.
Well done. I was there that day doing the full marathon hoping for a PB, but i got calf cramps at the 25km mark. Had to walk/run the rest of the way, Very disappointed indeed. Lesson learned I supoose.
As an East Ender Im thinking Victoria Park is alot better for the half marathon, I dont mind that its the same loop over and over. I cant quite work out why they bothered with the bit half way down the central avenue in Battersea, looked far far more congested than at any point in Victoria Park route.
@@alfdickinson1971 interesting! I might check that venue out for races in the future! I always thought that one was a bit lumpy around the Olympic park!
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
You follow the North Star until you get to the Milky Way junction, take a left and keep heading towards that big yellow star called the sun. When you arrive on the sun, ask the purple tree, I gather they’re the expert in transferring to Binance 👌 hope that helped

You could just convert the minutes to seconds and multiply by 0,62. Then you have an idea.
Well done andy. I was there doing the Marathon. New PB for me at 3:06. Took 12 minutes off my previous Pb. What a day it was.
Wow fantastic, good on you!!
What a performance, Andy. Really difficult not to get frustrated on such a busy course but you clearly handled that brilliantly👌🏻
Thanks buddy. I’ve done it a few times so knew what was coming, just that middle bit that was a bit tight but overall, there’s plenty of space to take a wide birth!
That's a great time Andy, especially as you've had a bit of downtime and on that course, where it was certainly congested at times!!
Thanks buddy!
Well done Andy, another great run 👏
Thanks!

A sneaky bonus half marathon! Excellent work, the superb time isn't a suprise to us regular watchers, you've put a lot of hay in the barn mate.
Thanks mate! Excited to kick on now
wow, that was something else. Congratulations Andy, again and again you race great in bad conditions, what a great start into the next trainng block
Thanks Thomas, appreciate it!

It would have been perfect conditions today!! 😇
Fantastic buddy, bet that was even windier being so exposed!!
Wow, well done Andy. With the wind and the traffic that was an incredible effort.. you're getting a rep as a bit of a storm chaser :D
Thanks! Things come in 3s... i'm sure the next one will be stormy too then I can put the stormy races to bed haha

Thanks buddy! We were told we had to keep count of the laps, so I was trying to stay focused enough to remember!
Great run Andy, I love running in Battersea Park. A real shame you had another race during a storm but a fantastic effort in the circumstances.
Thanks buddy, I am getting quite addicted to running there haha, its a great place to race!
Well done Andy! Great to see you
Great to see you too buddy!
Well done Andy. Was cheering you on from the sidelines and running on your own in that weather, even more kudos!
Thanks so much Mike, appreciate your support out there!
A great run Andy! You’re in shape!!
Looking forward to this training and racing block!
Thanks Simon! I am excited too! Appreciate it!
So many people and the storm you get a PB. Congrats
Thanks!
Solid performance, great work Andy-Well Done.
Got me thinking about catching the bus in the opposite direction for Victoria to Newport next Apr now lol
Haha! I’ve just scoped out Victoria, it looks very flat and there’s one in early Feb which would fit it well… I might do some research on this one !
@TheFODRunner yeah but the coaches don't seem to go round to Westfield, Stratford from Wales. You'd have to mess around on the tube adding to an already long journey.
@ probably best get the train to Paddington then lizzie line straight there would be the easiest?
Brilliant stuff Andy, in the wind and runner congestion that was some run. I can't get to that pace for a 5k at the moment.
Thanks buddy, conditions made it tricky but it was a great event!
Well done Andy. Great time in those conditions. Another great video. 💪😊
Thanks buddy!
Well done. That is a wonderful run in the conditions
Thanks buddy!
Hi. Congratulations, Andy. Great effort. Like. Happy Monday.
Thanks! Have a great Monday!
Great result in miserable conditions. Well done Andy
Thanks Neil!
Great race :). You fought well against the wind.
Thanks!

Ah gutted, sorry to hear that! Big respect for completing it, marathons are a huge challenge so massive well done!
@TheFODRunner thank you!
Amazing running and great video I got it at 13.38 miles definitely windy and good fun
Thanks! Yeah I can see why, we definitely weren't taking the racing line! Good job out there
Welldone andy👊
Thanks buddy
Curse you storm Burt!!! Great race though andy well done.
Thanks!
Haha a PB on those conditions 👏👏👏🤣
Thanks! Not quite a PB, second fastest though
@@TheFODRunnerho sry m8 😉
Great effort in them conditions Andy!!! I am just wondering what you can do if you actually get a perfect day for racing? Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Its a fun game to play... "wait for the right weather conditions" haha
Great effort! Did you fuel during?
Thanks! No i didnt
Congrats! I did my 10km PB of 40.05 at one of the RunThrough Events at Victoria Park. I've always blamed those 6 seconds on the weaving 🙂
Thanks! Wow well done, thats awesome! Sub 40 next time!

Well done! You don't look fast on camera I guess because of the low cadence and long stride, but you sure are! How tall are you?
Thanks! Yeah very long cadence, think I raced at 167! I am 6ft 6in

You need to change the name of the channel Andy. The Storm Runner or the Storm Chaser. 😂😂
I might have too haha!
