That small airport also doubles up as international! That airfield you flew over would be Parafield, Adelaide's first airport before the present one you flew out from took over in 1951. Parafield is Australia's 3rd busiest in terms of aircraft movements. The bangers and mash is great, I've had it a few times myself. When did you take this flight? QF has sadly modified their warm meal service AGAIN so were now just given a sandwich bag during meal time flights. Unless they've somehow kept this warm meal specifically for PER transcon flight! Fingers crossed, as I'll be on one of those from MEL next week! Congrats on closing in on 1k subs!
