What I got from the MV: Warning- SUPERDUPER LOOOONG>:) The pop star was scrolling on his social media and stumbles across the girl's post. A picture of her in the same city as him and by the looks of it. She was obviously deeply in love with him just like many of his fans making her an easy target. The pop star disguises himself as the cat at the beginning saying “I found you…” from behind when the girl is taking a picture of the billboard. The girl says the same while taking the picture. He lures the girl in by saying that he will be performing in secret. She does not realise that the catman is the idol but listens anyway since she is naive and gullible. After arriving at the bar, the idol is hiding behind the curtains waiting for her (to also drink from the glass that’ll make her vulnerable and easy to manipulate). At last, the girl finds the pop star ‘performing’ as promised. She is elated to finally meet him in person (as it shows a flashback of how she attend one of his concerts for the first time and how he spotted her through the crowd of fans and gave her a sweet smile that made her fall instantly in love.) but is even more thrilled when he goes out of his way to speak to her individually after his show (this time repeating the words “I found you” to her as if he had just read her mind but really he knew her from the start of the video). The girl is nervous as the idol leads her away but is immediately shocked after he bites her. He explains that 'I’ll love you the way you love me, but not in the way you will expect'. Meaning he will use her love for him to his advantage (Literally meaning in another sense-- “I’ll only love you if you do exactly as I say because that’s what lovers do, right?”). The girl is naive enough to listen to him and is easily swayed by him as he leads her away (presumed to kill her maybe). But as he leads her away they pass by a mirror and she is shocked when she sees that the pop star’s reflection cannot be seen. Immediately, she shoves him away and attempts to escape. Instead of being desperate to chase after her, the idol instead smirks because he knows she never had a chance at escape the moment she entered the bar/pub = his domain. This also shows how she runs around looking for the exits but they all have a double ‘??’ on them meaning they could lead to absolutely nowhere. As she tries to run away it finally clicks where she went wrong. She was foolishly in love with a guy she has never met in person. That she knows nothing about besides what the media say about him. It is a harsh slap in the face to find out that the guy she is in love with is a vampire who lures in girls to kill them. Everything the idol said back there about ‘love’ was just a way to trick her into becoming another one of his ‘silly-love-struck-girl victims. The girl is able to slip away from all the ‘monsters’ chasing after her (The ‘pub people’ which are really just her regrets coming back around to bite her in the butt. The idol easily finds her and pulls her back by the wrist, again using his favourite saying “I found you”. The girl is frightened but the pop star kneels down and attempts to calm her down by sweetly talking to her so she would listen to him. She tries to reason with herself saying she should keep running away but when he explains “You may not understand it, but this is love” meaning that whatever happens next--if he keeps using the excuse of ‘This is love’ then everything will be fine and the reason behind her fear is because of it. The girl can’t help her innocent heart from wanting him still after everything when he pulls her into a ‘kiss’ (meaning he drew more blood from her). The broken phone symbolizes how utterly shattered her image of the idol is. That everything she thought she knew about him thanks to the media is wrong and that he is a completely different person. The last scene shows them both hugging and the girl probably knows she’s gonna die at the hands of her idol but has accepted it since she couldn’t have asked for any moment like this (meaning she’d rather give herself for him so he can keep on living--probably to make as many other fans feel as ‘loved’ as she is feeling now. Plus she knows there’s nowhere for her to run). This will probably be her last moment alive and the idol’s teeth are drawn once again. But instead of struggling like he thought she would, he is shocked when she pulls him deeper into their hug saying that “I love you, regardless”. This literally means that even though she is about to die, he is still the musical boy who had captured her heart the moment they first locked eyes. This causes the pop star to immediately hesitate as he stops to think about her ‘last words’. This is a girl he had only met a few times who was deeply in love with him. Who knew that with one word about his identity- she could end his whole career but was so kind-hearted--so in love-- to disregard it completely and accept the fact that he was using her to get what he wants. This makes him look back at how utterly selfish and greedy he had been compared to how rude he was treating her love. Something so pure and innocent that he could never understand. It makes him wonder about what he could do to fix all of this. He was drawn to her for a reason that they only share. Just like how they first locked eyes in the past--it was a secret they shared between one another which was hope that they would someday meet again. The pop star immediately responds by burying his head into her neck and drawing her closer instead. He knows that he was being selfish and that he is completely undeserving of her love. That’s why he is willing to give it another chance by fixing it. When he pulls away and tells her “I hope we meet again” He means that he wants to do things the right way because he knows that if they were to be together then it would only bring more complications. So for him to be a better person (someone who is actually deserving of her love) he jumps through the window and into the daylight where he begins to disappear. Because for them to be happy together- he can only hope someone or something will grant him another chance at becoming the proper man she fell in love with. Of course this is just a theory:)

Awesome. I love how the story twisted into the guy stalking the girl, spiking her drink to turn like he does, yet in the end he realized that truly loving someone is not bringing them down a spiraling life of bad habits. So he chose to end his life to free the girl from the curse he gave her.
The MV itself really pulls you in with that twist, I kind of wished they added a bit towards the end with the guy being reincarnated as a normal human and they found each other again, but it was still sweet she loved him still regardless.

I broke my heart twice in a row 🙃. And here I was coming to uplift my sad mood after watching a sad movie. Expectation hurts But it was damn good yet hurts.
(sorry this is veeeeery long) So adding to others interpretations, I wanted to share some thoughts. We know that the girl is a big fan of his and came across the club after being told about it, and had a free drink. Immediately after drinking, she changed dramatically, from makeup to her clothes. She gets excited seeing her idol in person and I believe the first segment is showing what he is and what he planned to do (in an art form), which was love her just as much as she loves him even if it's not how she expected. We see a flashback of him searching through social media and he finds her account, and realizing she's the one and we see that he was the one that set out the drink or at the very least very strongly involved. So he was targeting her from the start. The actual event occurs (her drinking and then meeting her idol) but before they could continue, the girl realizes he had no reflection and started running. He catches her very quickly and keeps telling the scared girl that she may not understand, but what he's doing is "love." If they're going for typical vampire lore, he may have been trying to make her a vampire. In order to make a person into a vampire they needed to exchange blood. We keep getting repeat scenes of her drinking and the red martini glass etc, and they were all red. So I think she drank his blood which started the spell and to complete it, he needed to bite and suck her blood. We get a lot of rose imagery and how the flower gets increasingly shriveled. I'd like to think it's symbolizing her life force or humanity, and he's sucking it away while cultivating it and leaving it grow more and more shriveled. So this was obviously scary to her because he's taking away her humanity at least or turning her to dinner at worst while he's insisting it's love. But either way in the end, she wouldn't hate him for it. I think it's also picking up from the song that she doesn't have anything left to lose, use, or do, so even though he isn't what she thought he was, there's nothing for her anyway and she still loves him. He then has a stroke of conscious and breaks away, realizing he shouldn't just take away her life as a human and he should think about her happiness. But it was too late as one part of the process was already done. He then bids her farewell and jumps out the window, releasing her from the spell. The deeper meanings in all this is left up to interpretation, but this is what I feel is going on. So basically my thought is that this was in essence a story of the celebrity vampire wanting his soulmate but letting her go in the end. I also want to say, the art and animation is very wonderful and I love it so much. Sorry again that this is so long haha.

猫にそう唆されて、彼女はとある店を訪れた。
"BAD HABITS"というネオンサインを掲げたその店では、パーティが開かれていた。
差し出された紙コップに入った赤い液体を飲むと、彼女は瞬く間に煌びやかな姿に変わった。メガネはコンタクトに、メイクは華やかなパーティメイクに、爪は彩られ尖ったネイルに。
ドレスに着替えた彼女は、ワイングラスを手に、引き寄せられるように店の奥へ奥へと進んだ。
そして、彼に出会った。
「見つけた」
そう思ったのはどちらが先だったか。彼女は彼を見つけ、そのとき彼もまた彼女を見つけた。
視線が交わる。いつも遠くから見ていた彼が、私を見ている。私だけを。
彼の顔が近づき、彼女は期待に胸を高ならせた。
しかし次の瞬間、彼の尖った牙が彼女の首筋に食い込んでいた。
憧れていたアーティストの正体は、吸血鬼だったのだ。
「僕も君を愛してあげる。同じやり方ではないけどね」
妖しげに微笑む彼の手の中で、薔薇の花が萎れて散っていく。

しかし、ふと鏡に映った自分たちの姿を見て、彼女は驚愕に目を見開いた。
鏡には、彼の姿が写っていない。
その瞬間、彼女は酔いが醒めたように我に返った。
彼はこの世ならざるものだった。赤い液体は、飲むと都合の良い幻想に囚われ、吸血鬼の魅力に溺れて身を捧げてしまう魔性の薬だったのだ。
彼女は彼を突き飛ばして、店から逃げ出そうとした。
華やかに見えた店内の人々も、正気に返って見てみれば、吸血鬼やその幻想に囚われた狂気の存在だった。
足をもつれさせながらも懸命に走る彼女だったが、あっさりと吸血鬼に捕まえられてしまう。

絶望した目で彼を見つめる彼女の頭に、走馬灯のようにそれまでの彼の言葉が浮かんだ。
「君が理解できなくても これは愛だよ」
「君が僕を愛しているように 僕も君を愛してあげる」

ふいに何かが、ストンと彼女の胸に落ちた。

それに、先に彼を「見つけた」のは、自分の方だったのだ。憧れのアーティストの姿にはヒビが入り、ワイングラスの幻想は砕けた。でも、もう構わない。

人間が吸血鬼の愛を理解できないのと同じく、吸血鬼も人間の愛を理解できない。
けれど彼女は身をもって示してくれた。人間の愛とは、相手のためなら自分をも犠牲にできること。
吸血鬼である彼は、血を吸わずにはいられないが、それではいずれ彼女を枯らしてしまう。
ならば。
「また 会えるといいな」
彼は窓ガラスを破り、朝日に身を投げた。彼もまた、相手のために自分を犠牲にする道を選んだのだった。
ああ、これで消えるのか。
そんなことを実感したのか、呆けた顔で落ちていく吸血鬼は、彼女の姿を視界に捉えた。
何かを叫ぶ声、必死な表情、引き止めようと伸ばされた手と、丸い爪。最後に見た光景に、彼は満足そうに微笑んで目を閉じた。
そうして彼は消えた。
これまで彼が枯らしてきたバラと同じように、赤い花弁を散らしながら。

lol actually a pretty good vampire love story, with blood, biting, chasing, shock, love, and ashes from the sunlight--- no sparkles other than the city lights. It is pretty bomb.

彼は吸血鬼で人の血を飲むことで生きながらえている(しかし吸われた人は命を落とす)。その為、自分のことが好きなファンを吸血して、これが自分なりの愛だと正当化して罪悪感を消していた。しかしMVの女の子が正体を知っても愛してくれて、やっと本当の自分を愛してくれる彼女を殺すくらいなら自分の命を断つ決意をしたと解釈しました。

So adding to others interpretations, I wanted to share some thoughts.
We know that the girl is a big fan of his and came across the club after being told about it, and had a free drink. Immediately after drinking, she changed dramatically, from makeup to her clothes.
She gets excited seeing her idol in person and I believe the first segment is showing what he is and what he planned to do (in an art form), which was love her just as much as she loves him even if it's not how she expected.
We see a flashback of him searching through social media and he finds her account, and realizing she's the one and we see that he was the one that set out the drink or at the very least very strongly involved. So he was targeting her from the start.
The actual event occurs (her drinking and then meeting her idol) but before they could continue, the girl realizes he had no reflection and started running.
He catches her very quickly and keeps telling the scared girl that she may not understand, but what he's doing is "love." If they're going for typical vampire lore, he may have been trying to make her a vampire. In order to make a person into a vampire they needed to exchange blood. We keep getting repeat scenes of her drinking and the red martini glass etc, and they were all red. So I think she drank his blood which started the spell and to complete it, he needed to bite and suck her blood. We get a lot of rose imagery and how the flower gets increasingly shriveled. I'd like to think it's symbolizing her life force or humanity, and he's sucking it away while cultivating it and leaving it grow more and more shriveled.
So this was obviously scary to her because he's taking away her humanity at least or turning her to dinner at worst while he's insisting it's love. But either way in the end, she wouldn't hate him for it. I think it's also picking up from the song that she doesn't have anything left to lose, use, or do, so even though he isn't what she thought he was, there's nothing for her anyway and she still loves him.
He then has a stroke of conscious and breaks away, realizing he shouldn't just take away her life as a human and he should think about her happiness. But it was too late as one part of the process was already done. He then bids her farewell and jumps out the window, releasing her from the spell.
The deeper meanings in all this is left up to interpretation, but this is what I feel is going on. So basically my thought is that this was in essence a story of the celebrity vampire wanting his soulmate but letting her go in the end.
I also want to say, the art and animation is very wonderful and I love it so much. Sorry again that this is so long haha.
