- Hello friends, if your laptop having cooling fan error it called 90 b error in hp laptop. My laptop having cooling fan error or you can say 90 b error then I am getting very stressed what can do now? So I collect some information regarding laptop cooling fan error (90 b error) and find out some tricks to solve this problem. If you follow my instructions then I will promise you that you can get rid laptop cooling fan error (90 b error). *First method* 1:25 = Just blow hard to the ventilating area
*Second method* (This will reset your bios and repair some bios error)
3:50 = remove the battery properly
5:42 = press&hold power button for 30 seconds
7:42 = insert battery
9:26 = press power button and open your laptop.

In my laptop the removal of battery cannot be done as there is no option to detach it and I tried the Method 1 but it doesn't worked in my favour so much but the video was good and the first method worked a little bit for me. But anyways I will show it to any hp engineer. Btw thanks 👍👍

@@raindropsicon I have a HP laptop, not sure which model it is, and every pc has a cpu/colling fan, search it on Google about where is this vent located on your device.
What does holding/pushing the lower button accomplish if the battery is out and it's not plugged in? The laptop can't reapond without power to make holding the button for 30 seconds a valid solution to system overheat. The device will cool off naturally when the battery is taken out in the first place
Thats called 'hard reset'. Check HP website on the 90b fan error.

I blew compressed air into the vent instead of blowing on it. actually worked. I'm still gonna take apart my laptop though and replace the fan once one comes in the mail. these fans that come stock seem to be prone to failure...
