As much as the ref didn't help our cause with his soft decisions and inconsistency, it was stupid of Mols to kick the ball away like that when Madden had been booked in the first half for doing the same thing. That being said, we were poor, nothing was sticking to feet and the press wasn't good enough. Learn and move on to Barrow #RTID
Agreed mate. The ref had shown he was gonna book people for that. When Berry scored the 3rd he started to lift his shirt off then suddenly stopped ( realising he was on a yellow ). Players know the rules and hin kicking the ball away cost you any hope of a comeback IMHO
The defender nearly caught the ball. Definite penalty. Bitter response to a game that Chesterfield dominated.

First 10 minutes you looked dangerous but it was two teams I expect to be top 7 at the end of the season. The stupid second yellow cost you any chance of the game and the ref had already shown he would book people for that so the player should be disappointed with himself. Surprised how badly the Donny players lost the plot and their heads after that. Billy Sharp running towards our fans swearing and gesturing just showed how much he had lost his head. Every team has bad days but I don;t think the ref was the architecht of your downfall today. I think some terrible decisions by some players was.
