The insane power levels continue, I will try out each Arena balance patch or expansion for a few evenings, but already checked out mentally now. The "high powerlevel" is just not working out the way Blizzard hopes. When one player does insane curve things like dropping huge combo or colossals on curve, the other player doesn't most of the time have an epic response... They just click the bottom right for next game. And Arena now is just about maximising your individual highroll turn to win, while dodging impossible games yourself. You can still apply skill, but it's beyond recognition as a classic Hearthstone game mode now. I got 7 on my first Shaman blind run, and that was mostly with just Horn of the Windlord saving games out of nowhere for at least 3 games I had no right winning... That just feels hollow when every game is won or lost so decisively through one or two power cards back-to-back.
I remember they experimented doing it possibly a few years back now. Not sure why its not done but i imagine have thier reasons, keep it simple perhaps.
I disagree with that "most disgusting thing". I believe the arena run with Lotraxion and a bunch of Recruit synergy cards was the most disgusting thing you have done. Not to mention that was the run with famous Angry Chicken lethal. That was something else.

I used to get 12 wins here and there and average 6+ but nowadays the power level of decks is just too high. Solid play is barely relevant with so many game winning cards out there
