It is called spoiling attacks, setting up purposefully weak defences, or fielding less to draw, and keeping forces of the enemy away from the main force and push, by drawing them in having them set up then either attacking them from the flank or even completely somewhere else. It actually happens more often than you would think. Losing a battle doesn't mean you lose the war. Its strategy, especially when there is a numerical or mechanical advantage to the enemy.
@@chris.moonmantis9459 I see what you are saying, just does not really feel the same as deploying perfectly good tanks only to be blown up and several body bags to fill. Really the only way to win a war is to not fight in the first place.
It is clear to me that the K-A-P clan team is a team of gentlemen that value sportsmanship and valour. I think they've said something like "Sir, it would be a most shameful victory if we tower over these brave 10 fighters" and the commander said "You are right, it would be a total lack of sportsmanship and fair play. The only honorable thing to do is to give up"
Or maybe it's some overengineered Japanese samurai doctrine which says that if you encounter a weaker enemy that shows enough bravery and honor, you have to kneel before them and let them behead you because they've effectively put you to shame and you've lost your face.
It's likely that if they won, they would have had 2 or 3 matches scheduled at the same time and didn't have enough players to field them. This is a common occurrence in clan wars.
This is the correct answer. I've experienced it myself several times. I remember we had a game that we needed to lose, but we wanted some fame points, so we loaded in with deathstars and FVs, and we were actually winning somehow, so we all had to stop shooting at one point to give up the game.
So Clan Wars is set up so that only the big clans can progress!? That has to be the dumbest clan battle setup ever! What is the point of competing at all? Maybe I am just not understanding, cause my idea of any clan war mode, in any game, is to win all battles. I think WG has to change how clan wars is organised, and kick out any clan that doesn’t play to win. Just seems really dumb to me.
@@wolverine343534 not exactly, because each player earns individual points. The idea is to not fight on so many fronts as you have players to fight. But sometimes you win on every front and have more games than you have active players, and you do not want to take a technical loss, so you have to play with the idea of losing quickly. It's hedging your bets, because you need to fight on as many fronts as you can to maximize your chance at gaining points and land, but sometimes because of time, you need to drop a battle here and there, it's better than no showing and getting a technical loss. A clan of 15 players can earn the reward tanks if they play and win.
Its about fame points and continuations. If you cannot load a team with 12 players, you are hit with a technical loss. Your clan then loses fame points and could be hit with a penalties. To avoid have too many matches scheduled that a clan cannot support, they will throw a match to avoid having a continuation match scheduled at the same time as a previously scheduled match. Clans that can field more than one team don't have this problem, but some clans can't support two teams. It's part of the WOT system for clan wars; you are penalized if you have a shorthanded clan.

In clam wars, stuff like this is common. Clans will play the 'meta' game (wheel and deal with one another) and decide what parts of the map will go to whom. Sometimes this means that you need to lose some battles. Which at times, confuses a clan to no end when this happens as they aren't in on the deals being made. It's been like this since the beginning. Nothing strange here. The 'meta game' is part of clan wars.
My suspicion…… they fought to a certain point to earn materials, scrap etc. But they either want to tank their ELO with a loss. Or they cannot afford to win as they wont have enough players for the next round and dont want to take a TECH for not fielding a team for one or more battles.
its common thing in clan wars cos if they won the battle next they will have 2 battles at the same time... one to play but for not showing on the other one the clan get penalty so they just lost and end the possability for having 2 battles at the same time... ( if the map has water they just go and drown them self but here no wather :) )
I have played alot of Clan Wars and it is mostly scammed and planned by the big clans. I was in the old event where the M60 was the prize and every match we did was preplanned, the event winners were planned ahead of time. All the big clans knew who would win each stage of the event.
The enemy team might have had another battle and would have had a double battle, and if they don't field a team, they get a penalty. That penalty is to lose a ticket for a drop. In other words, They start off with 4 places on the global map they can try to win. If the tech a battle, which is why they would throw a game, they would lose a drop, putting them to only 3 per day, and it takes 7 days to recover. So to lose 1 battle to save the penalty, would allow them to drop 5 extra times per week, making a total of 20 drops, or "battles". With the penalty it would only be 15, for the week. 3 penalties and you don't get to play clan wars for a week.
There are a lot of secondary strategies going on in Global Battles. You can screw over another clan by losing to them. These guys got as much damage as they could and as many kills as they could before falling back. You need those things for fame points and materials. Just delaying the outcome can cause the other team to miss a battle and take a penalty. I prefer playing the battles straight up. But I know of many clans that are looking to screw-over other teams any chance they get.
More often it's because, if you win, you will have a simultaneous battles scheduled. If you can't field two teams at the same time then taking a technical defeat is worse for your points then losing a game on purpose.
If its for clan wars with reward tanks, you need 5 kills to get your points. Looks like they had another battle and didn't want a second or third battle at that time frame. They drove back to base so their enemy couldn't push their tanks on cap. It happens. Its clan wars .
12 vs 15 not 15 vs 10 and the clan with 15 tanks had to go play next battle but not have the players to fight two battles same time after this one. so they loose on purpuse and they don't get a penalty for not showing in the battle after this one. Happens when you win to much.
No Claus this could be a game that has aresdy been pre planned, I did a lot of clan wars and deals where always made between clans. They defending team has to turn up or automataclly lose the land, so in some games teams will go in cause damage so it does not show to wargaming but not kill all the of the tanks and let the timer go down or just move and not defend or cover. This is what this game looks like they could have easy killed them all but the move away. its easy mid game to work out how many tanks the other team has on small maps. so this is not a real battle
If they are a high ranked clan they are trying to lower their rank to prep for next cw season so they can seal club at beginning of the next season. MM will give them easier matches. Or they had another more important match to get to and not enough players. They stacked tanks to hopefully reduce damage other team would get.
They had another battle and they didn't want to take a ban not showing at the battle. And Claus they are 12 not 10. The minimum number pf participants in a clan war batlle is 12.
At the end of CWs season some big clans (and many others) uses to lose games to get down the ELO, this way they will face easier first matches at next CW campaing. This is a real issue Claus. I guess the only one way to avoid this is to reset ELO rating at the beginning of every CW and to increase winning / losing points on wins and loses. Believe me, this is a real problem in CWs.
Are the two clans involved in an alliance and are strategically reshaping their borders by trading map positions on the world map? For the players who have never played in clan wars, think of it as late game Civilization VI with tanks only. Having alliances and making pacts with allied clans describing how to attack the map and how to surround and isolate enemy clans is the fun part of being a clan commander or combat officer - getting together outside the actual game and planning a war campaign so the alliance can control as large an area as possible of the world map. Interesting but also a small detail into this, they retreat with 2 tanks left on the enemy side, which means mostly likely KAP clan would already know they GMPS clan is down to -5 tanks, so If you do the math correctly, if GMPS would had all 15 tanks, the overall counting at the moment of retreat would be on GMPS advantage, so KAP clan admit the defeat in a very unusual way. Or, we will never know the reason. Just my two cents on it.

Alone from that one round there are two possible, reasonable, and legal reasons(YES its amazing you can us all of those 3 adjectives isnt it?) why a clan was purposely loosing a matchup. I wont explain any of the reasons because Claus most probably knows exactly why clans are doing it (If not may god have mercy on his viewers). And if he doesnt know he could easily ask. Its not uncommon and there more than one legit reasons. And DUDE is it ridiculous him making connections to the 11k banned accounts that were using illegal software. What a trash entertainment.
Idiot can get his clan busted for this. Shouldnt have posted it. Its common enough, but can get the clan in trouble.
LMAO
Yep, happens all the time. It’s a map where you can’t kill yourself in a lake or something so you have to wait to be killed to make it to the next battle on time.
Another rigged game.
What's rigged about this?
Claus can’t count
They are cheaters
Then every clan that does clan wars are cheaters then
Clan wars suck
