I’ve got a Honda Pilot, thinking of what optimal size screen to use. I’m also considering a budget setup using 2 tablet holders and just getting a couple Amazon Fire Tablets and setup a WiFi Hotspot. Found rear seat tablet holders around $18 each on Amazon and Amazon Fire tablets 10” size around $130-140 each. I have USB charge ports in the rear already so They can run on battery for a while or charge via USB as needed…. Can also easily pickup a couple of Bluetooth Headphones for not too much unless I get something expensive like Bose headphones…
Obviously you had an issue with the HBO video, will a nexflix or amazon prime app be fine or would you suppose I would need to just have that app ready on the screen itself? I also thought in some crazy world could a guy go HDMI in from say a roku that your hot spotting service to. Redundant maybe but just brainstorming.
its a junk piece. Why to buy this brick, instead get an android tab, which has way better functionality and great screen. It can work for few hours without any hanging powercord, as it has battery. This is a real brick of 5lb weight. Most tabs in these days are just 1lb in weight and with play store, you can get every thing. offline videos & games are possible on tablets
No, no streaming service can be pushed through. But you can, as he did, download the appropriate app, sign in, and then in order to watch, you must be on continuous internet connection.
Hopefully you can help me. I just purchased this exact screen and I cannot get into the boot logo option or change the theme because it wants a password. Would you happen to know what it is?
