Some bosses only took damage from the minigun. Most of the DLC bosses were very buggy with this cheat, therefore I did not include them. Phantom Express works really well as a plane boss. Remove the platform at the bottom, tweak some of the phases to make it a more challenging plane fight and you have a solid plane fight
Imagine a whole phase where a big ghost would be holding the train and mini ghost would fly out of it to get the upper part of the level and the ghost would send attacks to the lower part of the level
I think the hardest bosses to fight as the plane would be Rumor Honeybottoms due to the platforms, Sally Stageplay due to the mice on phase 2, and The Devil due to all the stuff on screen in the 2nd to last phase. Overall, though, these bosses don't look terribly hard due to not lasting long against the high DPS of the plane
@@Wassuuppbitches could be it's own separate thing that doesn't count towards completing the game. Kinda like how you can do every run and gun pacifist. Not needed to beat the game, just unlocks a filter. Could unlock after beating every boss
The Grim Matchstick battle felt oddly fitting for the plane, only thing you’d have to do is position the second and third phases to the right side of the screen and remove the cloud platforms.

Could just have grim stay on the right at all times, the cloud is no longer a gameplay factor in the plane so there would be no point in him changing location
Fun fact: Airplane bosses have much higher HP pool than the regular battles have on average. Also since Ribby and Croaks share the same HP pool if you use Super they take alot of damage, Phase 2 has fairly small HP so its pretty easy to "Phase skip" it, so ye Ribby rolled left then back. Some Bosses were prepared ahead of time that one day someone decides to fly on Airplane so they got some moves to counter it For example: Baroness head can follow you anywhere and the ground is also no go. Beppi was Smart enough that Planes cannot face left and only shoot right, so the clown uses this to his advantage (He must learned this trick from Mr. Monkey himself). 10:00 Beppi camping 3 times in row. 11:10 Grim Matchstick battle with Airplane definitely sounds lot more fun, until the point the dragon decides to once again camp at left side being on your "Tail" i guess. 12:30 Rumor Honeybottoms definitely is unique battle, in the fact that unlike any other autoscrolling bosses this one goes up 13:50 Brineybeard is so nice he doesnt decide to use the mighty technique of being on the left
Sally Stageplay's "angel/goddess" form is also positioned on the left side. If you move to what area you're able to hit her in, you'd also need to hope she doesn't use too many attacks like the wave which are unavoidable or unreactable.

Contrary to the comments here, I’m pretty sure Grim Matchstick would be a terrible plane boss fight unless they changed a lot. In his second form he siphons off the bottom x axis completely with his tongue / fireball minions. Grim adopting lane control here while he’s now behind the player and the platforms are still moving forward wouldn’t work in a meaningful / rewarding way unless you were on foot. Third form also wouldn’t feel as daunting as his fire orbs explode on impact - causing distress to the player and punishing them for spamming bullets while they maneuver through even less platforms forcibly switching between left and right since Grim is still behind. The ingenious challenge of these designs would be lost or would have to be altered significantly if it were a plane boss, IMO. I just think people think it looks cool to see a plane battle a dragon in the sky lol

First time I seen ribby and croaks use the orange balls bouncing in between the platforms in the final phase and I seen a lot of cuphead boss runs. Interesting
the slots machine lands onto 3 random obstacles the frog is the green ones that don't do anything the tiger is the bouncing balls and the bull is the red platform with blue fire

@@NekodroTheRUclipsMan you can access the DLC after clearing out the mausoleum on the first isle. You need to clear the run and gun first but after that you can take a straight shot at the DLC (which will be much harder than the Root Pack)

2. The default plane shot does quite a lot of DPS
That cuz the plane bosses have more hp then regular bosses

We weren't even on some of the bosses second phases for one second the plane is too OP for the ground levels.

You don’t need the dlc for that to happen. However, if you’re doing the battle on simple the onion is skipped completely

Oh if only I could use this cheat I'd be able to beat the veggie gang hands down and I got this recently so I haven't even gotten through the first main level yet
Also at what point in the game could you play the DLC before you do the rest of the story of the main game
@@NekodroTheRUclipsMan you can access the DLC after clearing out the mausoleum on the first isle. You need to clear the run and gun first but after that you can take a straight shot at the DLC (which will be much harder than the Root Pack)
@@weegeerules1 actually there is a secret passage that lets you go to the mausoleum and dlc island without doing the run n gun

Their one weakness: The inability to turn.
What would be unique is a boss in their 1st and 2nd phase are plane fights and the third phase is a non plane fight that would make it more intresting

This is so cool. Now all we need is floating platforms in all the plane stages, that could make for a legitimately fun and interesting challenge with a lot of frantic dodging involved
