I have a small asphalt repair business using infrared heaters to reheat he pavement and patch mix in potholes. Can I add CR to my cold recycled asphalt mix and expect it soften and bond with the patch mix to produce a stronger rubberized mix? The IR units get up to 1500º, but because the propane flow is cycled on and off electronically, there's a reduced chance of overheating the surface and contents.
A very thoughtful, helpful questioon when answered.
