It's $450 per female and $300 per male. I make journals, so I'm starting to put them up on my youtube channel for sale. But I really want to find either fosters or get them adopted. Plus, the 4 males which are the baby daddies, I spoke with animal control, and there's this whole process of ensuring they don't belong to someone. The one that hangs around the most is beat up all to heck from fighting, but, he's well fed and we don't feed them. We do put out water for him and it's cool under the porch where I keep telling him he doesn't live. It's been near 100 here for weeks. The stress is about to kill me. A few people have asked about donations, but I worked in the law for 30 years, and the last thing I need is to be accused of fraud, because virginia law is really strict. The kittens are spoiled and gorgeous. Ive reached out to some senior housing, and a few are taking it to their boards. There's evidence that cats can have a positive presence, especially with dementia patients. My neighbor across the street is active with the local Facebook group and she's going to post, but it's been so unseasonably hot nobody wants to leave the house. Sorry for the too long response. I'm tempted just to box 'em all up and drive them down to Jasmine and Dapper for them to take care of, with Dapper making cookies for the strays. Wouldn't Sprinkles love that? Ha.

Cute goldfish! For those interested in keeping fish as pets to entertain cats... Goldfish should be kept in very very large aquariums or even ponds. Fancy goldfish get around 6" long (not even counting their tails!) and common goldfish get about twice as long. Common goldfish MUST be kept in ponds because ordinary aquariums aren't big enough. Goldfish are social and prefer to live with other goldfish. They are healthiest in very clean, cool water with a relatively strong current. Well kept goldfish live as long as a cat! Betta fish are easy starter fish, but you'll want to get them a nice aquarium, 5-10 gallons or so, with a filter system (one with a gentle current, not like goldfish) and a heater and lots of decorations for them to swim under, behind, and around. They are usually happiest when living alone. The little kits sold at pet stores make corporations a lot of money, but they don't keep your fish happy or healthy. They should live 3-5 years.
I had one that would dip her paws in my husband's 100 gallon piranha tank many many years ago and they would swim as far away as they could and she licked her paw dry. Tasty fishwater😂.

I have 5 cats and a tank full of fish, my cats love to watch their pets. And occasionally when we aren't home they even feed them. 😂 It's hilarious to see cat food floating in the top of the tank. It's a 35 gallon tank with a big sturdy lid but it has a small opening that flips up so they have figured out how to drop things in.
