Do you like visiting the zoo? well i was excited to make the visit to the zoo when i was a kid. however now i find myself being against the zoo because the animals are in captivity in the name of protecting them while most of them are suffering zoochosis, which behave abnormally by compared to the wildlife in the wild.

I looked up "zoochosis" in the dictionary and didn't find it. Can I use it for my academic writing?
Probably not in academic writing unless you use "" marks and add an explanation. This is very unlikely to come up in academic writing, though. =]
