Thanks Sridhar Pandey for your question. You typically wouldn’t want to source current through an electrochemical cell, so the 6221 isn’t ideal. A SMU or electrometer is generally a better choice. Please see section 4.2.2 of our low level handbook for a brief discussion on using current sources with electrochemical cells though: www.tek.com/document/handbook/low-level-measurements-handbook#C4section1
Thanks Abbas Hammoud for your question, the scripts used in this video come pre-loaded with the purchase of an EC model SMU. You can learn about them at this link, www.tek.com/potentiostats. If you already have a 2450, 2460, or 2461 SMU, you can add these scripts yourself with an EC-UPGRADE kit.
Tektronix thank you very much ! In the data sheet it appears that both sense high and force high are to be connected to the working electrode not the counter electrode. May you please clarify that ?
@@abbashammoud7205. Correct, because you’re interested in the voltage between the reference and working electrodes. Please reference this application note that goes into more detail here: www.tek.com/document/application-note/performing-cyclic-voltammetry-measurements-using-2450-ec-or-2460-ec-electr
I never knew before if we can perform CV on Keithley source meter
Can you please share the electrode you are using in this experiment, we are unable to replicate the same results at our end.
Is it possible to modify the script so that I’m allowed to collect current values at intervals shorter than 10 ms?
Can we perform the same in the 2182A model and 6221 Keithley source meter?
I dont know my brother

Are these setups pre-loaded ? Or we need to load them ourselves ?
