- Todays trip takes place on Memorial Day weekend 2024. I am fishing Mobtowns June Bass tournament. We managed to get a few going on topwater this morning. The main bait of choice today was Shimano's World Pop 69F.
I love me some popper action. Nice tournament day.

Thanks buddy! Yeah early morning that thing kills. I really think timing with the proper tide is a big deal in that oxbow. (I need to get back to being more active on RUclips) I’ve been busy with work stuff in recent weeks. Looking forward to rice creek.

It’s a nice river, I wish I lived closer to it. I’m thinking I may hit some of the upper kayak launches next time. Boones is the one I spotted.
