it's actually really interesting how fashion is such a "trickle up" industry - i cant identify the sunglasses he's wearing but if they're balenciaga i'm not surprised at all
if you look at stuff teens and 20somethings were wearing a couple years ago, there was a big boom in thrifting and secondhand purchasing - so young people were buying old stuff from the early 2000s like sporty athletic sunglasses, thick soled sneakers, brightly colored and oversized tops/pants and incorporating those into their style and eventually developing a whole style around those old clothes
fast forward to today, high fashion has observed all of that and companies like balenciaga are incorporating that thrifted/depop/vintage style that young people have created into their design language
