@@Drop_The_Mic that is a complete lie and LT tested it incorrectly. Severe Punishment and Atomic combos are mechanic based heals and have 0 impact from healing received. I've already tested it and it doesn't get the 10% which is correct and working as intended.

The Pet Artifact is actually decent, the damage the pet does combined with the stats on the artifact perform better than the sparring AI which buffs an additional 1% prec or the solar artifact which buffs an additional 1%might if one doesnt use Heatvision.
Honestly this shows the devs really don't play their own game. They just come up with ideas and don't think it threw. Like how u went in depth about the troll art how didnt they think about that.

Well you helped convince them to tweak the Claw to try to be worth while. Still not sure what %s of buffs they could use to offset the loss of power heal. Even if a 4th artifact slot opened up, I'd imagine ring of Azar or a power based one would fit better with the soul/parasite/rao setup without sacrificing instant power.
Could you add something about the pet artifact with fire. Because the thought of not having to use inferno, depending upon on the damage difference, might be good for fire dps’ing
I will look into covering it when I complete my fire guide. Most of the time for powersets the pet artifact will just be for the extra damage which adds about 1.5k to your 10/s parse because say for inferno the dot damage would be alot more overall then taking it off plus it takes 2 hits to set up the burning pi and would need 700,000 XP to have aoe burning setup.
So they changed the 3% power to 3% dom in the Seven artifact. Whereas I still don't see this as a tanking game changer, it's definitely locked in to at least one of the three spots for a standard (non-battle) tank loadout, no?
Fire Tanking is very easy if you understand the power. Shields are not Fire’s strength!!! If you look carefully at the “While in Tank Role Benefits,“ you stay buffed while damaging burning enemies. The problem is player don’t wanna do damage in Support roles which doesn’t allow the game to evolve. Of course damage is not the first priority of tanking but it doesn’t hurt to do a little more to move things along.
The amount of damage you deal isn't proportionate to the amount of Fire Soul mechanic you get it just moves your defense 20% higher the issue with Fire is that the damage you receive is greater than that of the heals you receive back. If a Skull attack hits an ice tank for 80k he shields through it and is fine, if a 80k hit takes a rage tank a couple seconds later they heal back 85% of the damage automatically. If a fire tank takes 80k hit they go from 150k health to 70k health and get heals of 10k-15k-8k etc and slowly recover the damage with no real burst heal meanwhile the boss is still attacking you. Fire Tanks don't need to rely on a shield build but that is why most play it as such because they can supplement the weaker shields and have a bit of healing inbetween. It also doesn't help that Eternal Flame was nerfed heavily and Immolation is the 2nd worst base tank shield.
That’s not what I mean. If you use flashpoint , backdraft, wildfire, meteor strike, enflame, and fireball barrage for adds. (Dominance based) For Bosses use Stoke flames, burning determination, absorb heat, burnout, backdraft, eternal flame or reignition. (Restoration based). It’s situational is what I’m trying to say. Every role can go 4 different directions. This is why you get 4 different supercharges.
@@gimmeyowalletog3576 Those dominance based powers you listed the only thing dominance impacts is the crowd control aspect of the powers, nothing to do with the healing on wildfire/backdraft. You can juggle adds sure but unless they are perma juggled you are still going to take even more dmg than you would on a boss. Go into Crown of the Thorns Elite final boss on the adds and use wildfire, enflame fire ball barrage and you'll be dead before the group kills war mungus. Sure in lower content or when you heavily outgear it that is the "situation" you are talking about but then it doesn't matter your build because you are too over geared to die if you make any mistakes.
Using knock downs, pulls, stuns help provide breathing room for yourself and the healer to keep you full, it’s a combination of your restoration(green ticks) shield defense(gray ticks), knock downs(no damage), Heath (withstanding knockouts). All of these damage mitigation’s are to be used to prevent damage or minimize it.

Depends on your rotation, if you are using shrapnel launcher as your pi setup you’ll get more dmg using EoG because of earning your sc faster and procing the artifact. If your Gemini isn’t 160 or you don’t use shrapnel then yes you could use the grimorium
I seriously think these are useless artifacts. The PI one seems Kool if ranked, but the trade off for these are not really worth the time in my opinion. Maybe if they finally came out with a utility belt version for the artifacts to add in a four slot, maybe, but even at that it seems like alot of XP and metals wasted for weak stats. even though they are both a 5% passive the base stats are different between the 2. Dilustel is 3817 Health, 238 Precision, 318 Dominance and Symbols artifact has 2226 Health, 2385 Power, 190 Restoration.
i have the claw artifact at 160 and i have no problem keeping everyone powered up the character name is pyroman1982 i don't feel like i am sacrificing much because my skill points are really high it is a good artifact especially if you are running SG E and need a really powerful burn to get through faust the artifact is actually really good you just need the skill points to compensate for loss in vitalization. which is why you have a 20 percent power regen you can spam powers for that.
Base stats need to be changed 3817 Health 445 Dom 445 Resto remove power in all. Tank percentages should be 5% Health 3% Resto 3% Dom. The healing portion needs to he 15% percent of your resto instead of 7%. We'll have finally have a 2nd useful tank artifact Rally to the forums morons get it changed.
Obsidian, it's my understanding that "paasive power regeneration" is not connected with PoT, instead it is solely the power returning from the spec setup by skill points. Assuming the aforementioned being true, the power returning to a controller would be 20% faster from his Super Power setup. Secondly, a controller utilizing Parasite's Power Harness would be delivering power from 3 debuffs and Pot, with both sources being much higher from a maximum of 24% higher Vitalization in raid content, assuming all players are alive. I believe, once the factors above are weighed, that the loss of the "Group Power Heal" is well worth it. One potential drawback, however, would be the loss of the Escalating Replenishing neck mod for controllers. Would the casting of what used to be both the "group weapon buff" and "group power heal" still proc the neck mod now that the casting no longer gives power? Such would be a significant loss of crit chance if so. Nonetheless, thank you for another great video.
Stats Revamp changed POT or Power over Time to "Passive Power Regeneration" the power returned from specs etc to yourself is Power Regen which if you are a superpowered spec is solely based on your max power pool size and if you are hybrid based off percentages of your power pool and weapon attacks. The Parasite Power Harness doesn't give any "power" it simply increases the maximum power pool of the group which if they are a superpowered spec will further increase their regen. So in actuality its a 30% drop in overall power out and you have absolutely zero way besides a supercharge to return power in any burst situation or if there is any powerset using more power than the POT ticks would return. For example a healer using the Orb of Arion and its near 16,000 power cost and your POT ticks with the controller artifact are 2k. Well that doesn't really help keep up with that kind of power use. Do you expect the *entire* raid group to change their playstyle just so you as a controller can use 1 artifact?

My belief that PoT from a controller's Vitalization stat being unrelated to "passive power regeneration" came from the following: Vitalization Vitalization determines the potency of power heals. Vitalization does NOT affect passive power regeneration or power regeneration from weapon attacks. So like your hybrid/superpowered spec etc which is correct vit has no impact on that its just power pool and or weapon attacks the more vit you have doesn't effect how much power you regen *yourself* Passive POT/Passive Power Regeneration etc is the POT ticks which are directly impacted by your vit and with losing the power dumb ability all together all you have is those 1.5k etc ticks of power returned to the group. A superpowered spec means nothing really because if you look at any of my powerset guides I am full superpowered spec with max power pool and I cannot even maintain a 30 second parse.

@@Gear-5Five5 It can be good with all of them with a change, right now you lose like 400+ dom and 1000 health wearing it which is a decent amount for a ice or earth etc that relies on DOM. Get that changed and its perfectly good artifact for any tank.
Love you videos Chill I do agree with you 100% on everything except fire tank. I do split health, dom and resto and even run a resto art with the two tank arts and I tank full elite content easily. My only disagreement but, everyone finds their own way. Been on since beta love your stuff. My self heals are Insane so please get the healing buffed bro lol
Its too early to say that because its barely out. People jumping the gun every time they feel too unsatisfied with the content ruins it for the majority of players. Honestly the game has about 80%population that are average skill. The 20%of us that really try to stay at the top of our game really do make it worse for them. Keep it in mind not saying youre wrong just think of the rest of the playerbase as a whole
I’d spec resto as fire tbh. Healing would be much much better on fire plus gemini circe, 50% healing received or 60% with artifact plus you can have stoke/bd clipped. That artifact is the devs’ lazy way to sorta buff fire and encourage the healing mechanic lol. Odds are you prolly still won’t be able to heal damage in Elite? Refractor gives like 15k on fire tank not sure you’d wanna give that out. I’d probably drop menacles if it came down to that tbh and I wanted to keep gemini. Controller artifact is actually kinda interesting if running with mostly prec dps and a healer who knows how to manage power
Haven't had the chance to properly do the math on a resto spec for fire yet just switched, could very well be viable I just can't speak on it yet or show the numbers
XxSILENT KnightxX If you’re talking about skill points, then it has a hard cap for health percentage at 100 skill points of 10 percent health increase, but it continues to increase a number health stat the rest of the skill points you put in until you max it out.
Think the troll artifact would be more viable if they switched it from the priority power heal to the sole weapon buff. Think it would make it more attractive for trolls.
Im torn about that troll artifact. First at 160 it says vit is 0, second if you solo troll i feel like youre gonna get some bitching about your power output because. Even if you add that 20% i dont feel like the might and restoration is gonna be worth it

That's cause the dev doesn't realize how it plays out in game because he's not there. Similar devs in the past have been the same IE Steel in legends with Tunso where every single legends player said Steel was OP than the rest and Tunso refused to change it for a year.

you realize I was in open world where the adds hit like wet noodles. You go into a raid and have the adds hit you for 4-10k each tick and then tell me with a straight face the 900 health is going to matter LOL. That heal isn't meant to help you, its meant to help you in a solo.

I wish I could articulate to the developers, as a new paying player, everything that confuses the fuck out of new players and drives them away. If I have to google something then the game did a terrible job of explaining it. Then when I google it the information is from 2012. FRUSTRATING AS FUCK. On top of that there is nothing but solo grind from t2 til endgame. I was in every fucking queue for my CR for 12 fucking hours. ONE FUCKING QUEUE popped and a fuckhead declined it. FUCKING FRUSTRATING!!!!
PS4's licensing agreement won't allow it. Plus, that would kill the reason for launch Live. Beta and testing are not the same at all. There would be endless server crashing with 2 clients running on your PS4 for DC, plus the space for test would be huge. DC would have to buy more servers just to run PC on PS4 which makes 0 sense. Why do that when you can save money and have people download it on their PC with pre-existing PC servers. PC is a smaller community and easier to gauge problems and issues. Everybody and their mother would be on test for PS4 and during live launch pssh nothing.

When you rely on one way to stay alive you have to use iconic powers. Everything you need is in every power set.

Its too early to say that because its barely out. People jumping the gun every time they feel too unsatisfied with the content ruins it for the majority of players. Honestly the game has about 80%population that are average skill. The 20%of us that really try to stay at the top of our game really do make it worse for them. Keep it in mind not saying youre wrong just think of the rest of the playerbase as a whole

Nope you’ll be fine both pi’s will just be active it won’t affect anything unless you have a power that uses both pi’s

I’d spec resto as fire tbh. Healing would be much much better on fire plus gemini circe, 50% healing received or 60% with artifact plus you can have stoke/bd clipped. That artifact is the devs’ lazy way to sorta buff fire and encourage the healing mechanic lol. Odds are you prolly still won’t be able to heal damage in Elite?
Refractor gives like 15k on fire tank not sure you’d wanna give that out. I’d probably drop menacles if it came down to that tbh and I wanted to keep gemini.
Controller artifact is actually kinda interesting if running with mostly prec dps and a healer who knows how to manage power
Haven't had the chance to properly do the math on a resto spec for fire yet just switched, could very well be viable I just can't speak on it yet or show the numbers

XxSILENT KnightxX If you’re talking about skill points, then it has a hard cap for health percentage at 100 skill points of 10 percent health increase, but it continues to increase a number health stat the rest of the skill points you put in until you max it out.
Daybreak is using artifacts to fix broken powers and we are paying for it....dont fall for it. Great video by the way.

Im torn about that troll artifact. First at 160 it says vit is 0, second if you solo troll i feel like youre gonna get some bitching about your power output because. Even if you add that 20% i dont feel like the might and restoration is gonna be worth it

Base stats need to be changed 3817 Health 445 Dom 445 Resto remove power in all.
The percentage bonuses should be 5% Health 3% Resto 3% Dom.
The healing portion needs to he 15% percent of your resto instead of 7%.
We'll have finally have a 2nd useful tank artifact

That's cause the dev doesn't realize how it plays out in game because he's not there. Similar devs in the past have been the same IE Steel in legends with Tunso where every single legends player said Steel was OP than the rest and Tunso refused to change it for a year.

you realize I was in open world where the adds hit like wet noodles. You go into a raid and have the adds hit you for 4-10k each tick and then tell me with a straight face the 900 health is going to matter LOL. That heal isn't meant to help you, its meant to help you in a solo.

@@Maurio1996 nah if they double it so that those fire ticks you saw like the 2-3k was the normal one so that would make fire 4-6k and that is better for fire and more reasonable for normal. That and the 3% dom is the only changes I think are needed.

I wish I could articulate to the developers, as a new paying player, everything that confuses the fuck out of new players and drives them away. If I have to google something then the game did a terrible job of explaining it. Then when I google it the information is from 2012. FRUSTRATING AS FUCK. On top of that there is nothing but solo grind from t2 til endgame. I was in every fucking queue for my CR for 12 fucking hours. ONE FUCKING QUEUE popped and a fuckhead declined it. FUCKING FRUSTRATING!!!!

It could be really good as a situational sub-in but running it permanently will render a troll useless in the majority of situations.
They should add test server to ps4 😐
PS4's licensing agreement won't allow it. Plus, that would kill the reason for launch Live. Beta and testing are not the same at all. There would be endless server crashing with 2 clients running on your PS4 for DC, plus the space for test would be huge. DC would have to buy more servers just to run PC on PS4 which makes 0 sense. Why do that when you can save money and have people download it on their PC with pre-existing PC servers. PC is a smaller community and easier to gauge problems and issues. Everybody and their mother would be on test for PS4 and during live launch pssh nothing.
