Just did a trip with this. Tips for new users: * The most important part is the buckle at 2:00. This is what suspends the frame within the box, stopping it moving around. If you cannot get it tight with minimum length, wrap it around handlebar as well and make sure it is tight. * The litmus test for "is the frame secure" is grabbing and moving the frame in different places and checking if it moves the base shell as well. If the frame moves but base shell doesn't, then the frame can shift in the box. * For the criss-cross buckles at 2:07, make sure that they are tight and push down some part of the frame. For me, the strap pushing down a bottle holder with a bottle with it worked as well. * You should unscrew the rear derailleur and put it in the protector at 1:16. This is also in the pdf manual. * For holding the chain in place 1:16, use tape on chainring. * If you have a carbon seatpost, you can use one of the fork protection sleeves to protect it from the clamp 1:50. Can also use tape to make it more secure. * You can use the dead space for other items, but make sure that they don't protrude too much and are secure. * When placing the wheels, make sure that the disc rotor is towards the frame (to prevent bent rotors). Place the rear wheel bag above the front wheel bag, with cassette pointing away from frame. This helps with putting the thing together. * Finally, when putting it together, start from the most resistant corner, and put the strap on lightly. Then do the other side across the diagonal, and do the strap lightly. Then see if you can do the other corners. Then tighten all straps. * The sides must overlap in the designated points, the inside plastic lip must be within the metal brackets on the inside of the case in all of the brackets. * As it is just two halves pressed together, it is very noisy on asphalt and pavement. On tile in airports it is fine. * When you are travelling to/from USA, TSA like to open luggage a lot more than airport security in EU. As it can be difficult to put them together (two cases must overlap in the contact points and it can be hard without strapping them closed), exercise caution and maybe check out bw bike case with hinges. Still, with all of these things to keep in mind, it's a fantastic case, it keeps your bike very secure and is well worth the price (which is also really good). Once you get hang of packing/unpacking you can put the bike together in 20 minutes when you arrive.
Thank you for your comments and feedback. We are delighted that you are so happy with the B&W bikebox 2.0 and that your bike is getting to its destination safely. Your detailed explanation is very helpful to us as we continue to develop. Thank you very much!
This is an incredibly useful video but you have to run it a 1/4 speed to actually see what he is doing with all the components. A longer video is no problem, the first few times you pack a bike box it’s useful to review all the steps.
Not useful at all. Not even made for modern bikes with inside frame cables. Standoffs don’t fit either. Better off with a bunch of foam rubber and electrical tape
*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*
Hi Vladimir, thank you for your message! On our website you will find all updates about our products. You can also contact our support here if you need help: www.b-w-international.com/en/bike/
Thank you for your interest! Our bike box 2.0 fits mountain bikes up to 62 cm frame size. If you need more information please have a look at our website: www.b-w-international.com/en/bike/cases/b-w-bike.box-ii
The most important difference between the bike.box 2.0 and the bike.guard curv is the material. The bike.box 2.0 is made of ABS, the curv is made of self-reinforced curv material. This is significantly lighter, which makes our curv a unique lightweight with only 10,6 kg. In addition, the bike.box 2.0 is primarily made for race bikes up to a frame size of 62cm. The curv also fits large bikes as well as fully MTBs. I hope we could help you with this answer :)
IIt is always very difficult for us to know each single bike with its exact dimensions. Please compare the outer dimensions of your frame with the inner dimensions of our bike.box 2.0 to see if it fits. You can use the configurator option on our website 😉 www.profikoffer.de/en/Bike/
Hi jazl41, you can use an ordinary padlock with tsa function. Please take a look at this link, here you can see a detail picture: www.b-w-international.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/96015-bike-guard-curv-lockable-with-tsa-padlock-2.jpg
contacted b&w regarding this box too but still no reply. our team got a few boxes and have the same issue. the straps were too short which makes the boxes useless without making modifications

I'm a little skeptical this case would fit a gravel bike with 45mm tires. Anyone try that?
The bike.box 2.0 should fit, but the wheel.guards that are included, won’t fir for these tires.
Good evening, what size is the lock of the tsa that serves you?

Hi, will this case fit a 58´´triathlon bike?
Hi Pablo, we have an configuration tool on our website. Please take a look at the dimensions of your bike and out it into the fields there: www.b-w-international.com/product-category/bike-cases/
You need to slow down this video so people can see better how to pack it. Also the photos on your brochure are horrible!
Thank you for your feedback, we are currently revising our product pages. Maybe you liked it better!
It costs like 3 my bikes
😂 if your bike costs 1/3 of this case, just pack it in an old cardboard box you find at you local bike shop. 🤷🏻♂️
