Love it 😍
Very much inspired
more than inspired.............
Oh yes
So inspired
Her life story is so inspiring. Her observations about maintaining control and ownership of the land is absolutely on point. At some point, she should consider writing a business book/memoir about her life as a business woman, an entrepreneur, a mother, etc. This type of book typically becomes a best seller because people enjoy reading real stories from successful people so they also may be inspired to accomplish their own goals.
I agree. She is a fountain of wisdom
Good work
I agree with her owning the land and business. I salute you Mama. I believe in Africa , yes I believe in myself. Guyana South America
I grew up with Martha who was studious and very disciplined even at a young age. Well done Mati; very proud of you 👍🏽🙏🏽🥰🎉
Good to hear, that's what it takes to succeed in business and career.I'm impressed.
Great things are happening in Africa. Zimbabwe has been trashed so much by the western media that I actually thought it was a trashy place. I feel ashamed to have allowed myself to be brainwashed this badly.
Whites always talk shit about Zimbabwe because they lost Land and they know they shall never get it back hence the hatred of the country.
Unfortunately Caucasians control the media here in South Africa and world wide .
Don't feel ashamed. Look at what we all are up against. A billion dollar machine that control most of the flow of information.
Thank God for RUclips. I bet they wish they never invented it.
It’s not a trashy place the people are nice but the life is hard there my family are suffering
Like for instance in the village hospital my Gogo couldn’t get simple insulin for diabetes they had to wait the whole weekend for the insulin to come from the city this crappy videos paid for by the 1% who own the country’s wealth life is not easy there are no jobs for my family if there was we wouldn’t have to send money back to Zimbabwe every week this man is painting a false picture of life for the average Zimbabwean 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@TimForzaTorinoF95Ole For many decades, I have heard the colonizers paint Zimbabwe negatively. That is biased and one-sided. Definitely, there has to be a positive side that we never hear about. I still thank Wode Maya for showing us the other side of the story. Come see some parts of New York City and you will never believe this is America but rather a third-world country. This is because the western world is good at promoting itself. There are people here who can't even buy insulin, afford a decent place to sleep every and go to bed hungry. Yes, here in America. I am referring to normal/ regular people and not drug addicts. It is good to share your opinion nonetheless, Tim but I still enjoy hearing a refreshingly positive story also.
Zimbabwe was a great region.....a strategic trading point for ancient Africa. British destroyed it. Did you know European...are only 6000 years old? Up until 8500 years ago, white people didn't exist. They learned everything they know from Kemet. Now imagine what our ancestor knew. You can research this information. The pyramids are older than white people.
I love her words: ‘I will Never Apologize For My Identity’, preach Dr. Mati! 🙇🏽♀️ 🥰🤘🏾
Yes, and I say I don't have to justify my existence to anyone.
Praise Jesus Christ. I have really loved your statement
Right. I’ll never say I’m half White. Half Black sure. Blacks even while mixed will generally say they’re mixed “but I consider myself Black.”
In fact,I have followed you to every african country you've visited through your videos and I MUST SAY ZIMBABWE 🇿🇼 TOPS THEM ALL,that's to me. Whaaaat !!!!! What a beauty,, no wonder the whites were reluctant to move out .
God richly bless you Wode Maya 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏Ewuradze nhyira wo pii aai
Thank you. Zimbabwe is the battle ground for Africa. It's ground zero for the struggle for freedom and anti imperialist agenda
Where are you from?
They called it "The Jewel of Africa". Zimbabwe is literally blessed with everything, good weather, good people, natural beauty and plenty of resources. Only bad politics holding the country back, sadly.
@@munyaradzijani7409 You need to be able see the problem for what it is. What held Zimbabwe down was not bad politics bad Economic sanctions by the west.
@@ruzetwapa5450 Zimbabwe is the country where corrupt people are never sent to jail, instead they're rewarded. How much did Wicknell steal? Priscah Mupfumira? Henrietta Rushwaya? Tagwirei? I can go on mate. Zimbabwe is also the same country that had a policy called the Indigenisation Act which forcefully took away 51% of shares from foreign owned investments. You don't need sanctions with such levels of incompetence and malfeasance. Good governance can make Zimbabwe a better country, with or without sanctions. Rhodesia had sanctions too but the economy thrived regardless.
It was the breadbasket of Africa. Providing jobs to the poorer African countries and exporting food to them. Till when sanctions and government that allowed itself to be played by the West brought it to its present state.
It was next to South Africa in development. But it will rise again as the people are resilient.
Something powerfully African about Zim ppl, and they proved to be resilient despite greedy leaders, and occupation (some would call it colonization!); you can see it through the eyes of that beautiful genius woman...hell yeah, she ain't just Zim, SHE IS AFRICAN, that makes me a proud relative of hers! That continent is full of powerful women, the Queens! I gotta visit Zim soon.
You are most welcome to visit our beautiful country Zimbabwe anytime.
Occupiers is a goof phrase because every group that you now find in zimbabwe has at 1 point colonised
"Zimbabweans are very polite people, it's a nice thing that we have." Love how well she speaks with the accent. Beautifully
Mama (Dr) Mati, brilliant, articulate, witty, industrious, entrepreneur par excellence, African Queen, epitome of the average African woman: industrious, very hardworking, visionary, go getter. Mama (Dr) Mati, fully home grown is a role model, for our young African maidens, you cannot be banished to the kitchen, to the bedroom. African women like Dr Mati show that the sky is your beginning. Well done Wode Maya for showcasing as always our brightest, and best on the African continent. Africa cheers for you.
I am a Zimbabwean and i never knew about this great woman or her hotel until today despite the fact that i' ve lived in the country all my life. Only for Wode Maya all the way from Ghana 🇬🇭 to show me much I don't about Zimbabwe
I love the fact that Wode allows the person he is interviewing to speak without interruption. A really inspiring interview 👏🏾👏🏾beautiful hotel.
What's the name of the hotel
I'm Zimbabwean and your videos are breath taking! I'm so proud of your work
Zim is beautiful , I love Zim. Welcome to Tz(Tanzania)
What I have learnt from this video is that, you do not necessarily need to travel out of Africa to Europe, Asia etc to have an education or build a portfolio. We've got everything here in Africa.
Thanks for this Wode Maya!🙏❤ We keep learning a lot from your videos.

I'll be in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 soon for the first time. Your videos are very helpful to me coming from the US. I never thought Zimbabwe was this beautiful. I've been to South Africa 🇿🇦 so many times and was hesitant about visiting Zimbabwe from the negative things I heard about the people and economy. I'm looking forward coming there and I'm going to keep watching your videos to see what there to do such as club, bars, hang out spots, museums, tours, etc.
I am inspired and I am extremerly proud of her. She is an African and not an African't. Inspite of the evil sanctions placed on Zimbabwe by America and western Europe it is still possible to make it in Zimbabwe and Africa on the whole. Obstacles can be overcome if support is fortcoming from family, friends and the community. Her story should inspire Africans on the continent and the diaspora.Best wishes to the enterprishing Queen going forward.
Greetings from the Caribbean, specifically the British Virgin Islands. Wode, I love what you are doing. I appreciate the positive stories emanating from ZIM. It truly presents to us in the Caribbean a different perspective of ZIM and the African continent. Having been to Kenya, Egypt and Mauritius, next on my list are SA, Ghana, Nigeria and after this - ZIMBABWE!
So much illustrious Zimbabwean talent across the board across the world , from Google to MTN to MIT to Pfizer, to Mayors in diaspora , to wealthiest black man in the UK and everyone in between. Belief that the fortunes of the country and continent are in our hands is the starting point. Great content Wode. Enough respect for the clear thinking Doc and hotelier

Dr. Mati we're thrilled to meet you through this video. The video wreaks of well earned fulfillment, we're brimming from ear to ear watching you tell us the story of a life of purpose. Kudos Wode for finding yet another authentic African inspiration 👏🏿

Wode you out did your self on the Zimbabwe series. I will definitely stay at Mbano hotel when I come to visit.
Awesome! This what some of us have been saying & keep saying that Zimbabwe is rising.
I truly believe in my heart of hearts that Africa is a vibrant and all-conquering giant waking up to claim her rightful place on the global stage and Wode Maya you were called to galvanise and shake her people to see this. For this pivotal moment to materialise, we are going to need greater unity, smart ideas and partnership and the grit shown by the likes of Dr Mati and others that you continue to showcase Maya. Never been more proud to be an African first but from Zimbabwe. #ATTW

I have visited Zimbabwe in 2019 and I was impressed with the beauty of the landscape and great people. I also noticed that women from Zimbabwe are very intelligent and descent, they dress decently most of them, I love it unlike other countries whereby woman walk naked or half naked.
she is a very respectful woman, down to earth, i love it when she said ok to Wode Maya's "take a walk with me"

Natural, there’s a lot of math involved in cryto trading and forex trading,
but this is often presented in forms of daunting technical charts, indicators, patterns.

One thing I've noticed about the influential people Wode Maya interviews is "humility". They act as if they've done/have nothing when they are already doing well. Thanks for inspiring us Wode. We will all get there one day.
Thank you so much my brother from another mother WADEMAYA you are doing a great job. May God bless you and your lovely wife Trudy.

This has definitely been one of the best videos I have watched. Dr. Mbano is truly an inspiration to women and men all over Africa and Africans in the Diaspora. Thank you Wode Mayo and your crew for a great job done. Lastly a big thank you to Dr. Mbano for believing in yourself. You have a wealth of information, and you should consider writing a book. The people of Zimbabwe are doing well in UK. They are very conservative calm hardworking community here in UK. Negative puplicity sanctions on government ministers is making Zimbabwe unattractive to outside investment at the moment. BBC has never shown a non negative story about Zimbabwe....

You know Africans and Caribbean people like to say that their free in their respective countries. But whenever you go to these countries you mostly find another race running the hotels, shops , farms and many other things that the people of these countries own people should be running!! It's upsetting to know that leaders of these countries have not got faith in their own people to control the majority of things in their own countries. Respect to this Zimbabwean lady and I hope that many more black people get to be owners In their countries. After all no matter what other country you travel too. You will see the majority of people in prominent positions are indigenous to that country. Its only right after all.
Kenyans run atleast 80-85% of the show. In all spheres. We are jealuously proud of our achievements.
@@thisandthat1523 I'm glad if they do but when I went to Mombasa the hotel was ran by a white person the local restaurant was ran by an Indian. Had I of known any hotel that was ran by black people it is there I would of stayed!
@@freddiedouper Hotels at the coast especially are almost 50/50 local owned and foreign. Mostly because kenyans give them that space since they attract clientelle from their home countries. Same for manufacturing of household items , its indians. And abit of afric. The other industries, its almost all Kenyans. And thanks for visiting Kenya.. Im Kenyan.. How was your stay? Did you visit the cities clubs and restaurants , the national parks, etc? Hope you got a Kenyan chic so you can have dual citizenship. Thats the global flex now..

Kenya is one of the best holidays that I've ever had, went with my girlfriend, done a safari, stayed right by the beach. Met a lot of people and I'm thinking of coming again one day. But my ambition is to see as many African countries as I possibly can.
you should leave Africa alone
Each time I tune in to African UTubers, the perspective given of Africa gives increasing hope.We in the African diaspora are being lied to by western media ,about African ideas of development is depending on western/ Caucasian control and exploitation. Innovation is not exclusive to any race or any one economic development model. The sooner leadership in Africa, can throw off the colonial slave mentality
of massa approval is needed, the more liberated will be innovation of the African people in directing their destiny.
Love this, especially for forward thinking young people 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
