Hey friends! Thanks for watching. 🌺 This is the only field that we are seeding this year and we hope that some rain comes because we would like to make these oats into green feed for our cattle. We will be cutting and baling it the same way we do our grass fields. The gps comes in pretty handy when it’s so dusty that you can’t see where you are going… 😬 Thanks again for watching, Annette🌺
What a beautiful farm, gorgeous views too, look at that gorgeous horizon. We could sure spare some rain, it still feels like mid-winter here, cold, wet, dark. I enjoy watching you tend to your land, you are very hard working. Wishing you a great week, take good care, friends!
Sorry you don't have rain. That field is sure dry and dusty. Thanks for explaining the gear. I had no idea how it all works. Just never been on a "real farm!" Cheers!
The ground is so dry! Our ground is always wet the rain just washed all my top soil off my garden beds 🤦 I'm learning lol love seeing the process of how seeding goes! So neat!
Our other friends in Arkansas are having the same problem! Re-planting seeds that have washed away or drowned. I’m sorry that we can’t have a happy medium! Thanks for watching and you guys take care, Annette 🌺
When I was a young buck in the mid 90s, this is what I learned to seed with. Wasn’t much long after that (1997) and dad bought an air seeder which really sped up seeding season. They are excellent drills though. Very basic. Still have them parked beside a fence row and would still work fine with a few shots of grease. They are a cheap and reliable backup in case I ever have issues and fall behind in seeding.
Hey Annette and Glen my friend...I made a playtist for your channel and i keep playing on my silent live stream ..hope is that ok but u have no choose I already playing haha silent only ✌️

Hope you get rain! I could watch this all day long. I love it. It’s so relaxing for me to watch. Probably not to plant though
Thanks Lisa! We got some great footage of the people who are seeding the rest of our land!
The difference in tractor and equipment size is incredible.

We are nearly the only farm around that still uses hoe drills.
Air seeders with gps are all around us! Lol
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 🌺
Amazing
Thank you! 🌺
Amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐// 🇨🇦✅ 👍
I hope it does well and you get rain. Very dry here, a lot of fires in town. God bless.
Praying for rain for both of us! 💞

When I drill alfalfa for the father in law I wish his equipment was that size
Glen seeded our first couple of pastures with 8 feet. A super old set of drills that he said were perfect for grass seed. That takes a while! 😅
i still seed with a hoe drill also.... some of us old timers are still around .....
That’s awesome!
What speed do you pull this drill?
Hi there! The speed is around 4 1/2-5 miles per hour.
The tractor is 135 HP.
