A lot pause because he don’t have the stamina. Lastly, before the jump he pull his front leg back then step forward...jump and turn around. This is a joke. It’s supposed to jump on the spot stationary. It’s supposed to be a hook and back kick combo. At yahara sensei’s performance, it looks like a jump. But if you watch nakayama semsei’s performance, it’s ugly but the kick is more obvious.
dude its a sports competition. He is doing what he needs to do to win, hes a serious athlete lot. His kata was exceptional, no one said he is doing it for self defence purposes.
