My favorite podcasts are the ones with just Rick and Bubba reminiscing about past shows! I started listening in 99 so I didn’t know much about these events! Great episode!
I, all too well, remember listening (radio only) to the very earliest days of the show when they would be doing shows, or parts of shows, remotely. It was always such a struggle. If they were 'on location somewhere, I think I've heard it called the Bubba Box and they would somehow broadcast thru a cell phone. This was all great and wonderful but you had to turn the volume way up to hear them. Then, when they'd pitch back to the station feed for a commercial, it would blast so loud you'd be temporarily blinded. I'd nearly kill myself scrambling to get to that volume knob. 28 years later, I can safely say that it was worth it.

No chance they practice. Rick would probably not do a podcast if he had to practice.
I don't get to listen to the show much because I'm always and forever at work these days but I'm off on a Saturday which is rare so I watched the whole thing and didn't even pause it to get another cup of coffee. 😁👍
