I turned an old wooden bar stool into a spa cabinet that would look lovely in your new bathroom. 😄 ... I made two wooden bar stools into a library bench and another into a wine rack end table.. then two ugly, cheap end tables into a garden theme upholstered bench.. So I love seeing all the tasks you do to turn your house into a home. I love old houses. And I love seeing what you come up with in your videos. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing us along on your adventures.

Le rouge et le céladon , en petites touches, le doré pâle du meuble, du miroir, le tableau qui relie les couleurs; et plus encore, je ne regrette plus de vous avoir attendue ces derniers jours avec impatience. Le crissement du ciseau sur le tissus, et sur le bois de la table, m’ont fait retourner des années en arrière, quand ma mère coupait quelque coupon de tissus ; cependant elle me disait qu’il fallait toujours que le ciseau soit utilisé avec la lame courbe sur le bois, pour que ça glisse mieux. Je ne fais pas de couture, mais ce bruit familier et apaisant m’a transportée en petite fille. La salle de bain est une merveille de goût exquis , sans fausse note (ni trop de notes !) les accessoiress mûrement choisis font le décors et l’ambiance, le bon et bel objet au bon endroit. J’ai ri quand vous avez raconté , au sujet de votre anniversaire, pour cet étonnant cadeaux, car je serais bien capable d’une telle demande.. Un objet utilisé au quotidien mérite qu’il soit parfait,il fait partie d’une harmonie essentielle à l’art de vivre. Vous nous laissez entrevoir d’autres pièces à rénover, qu’elle chance pour nous !!! 😊😊❤❤

Thank you! There was no real rhyme or reason why I did it that way. Because I was tiling onto a painted woodwork, which is a non-porous surface, the tile adhesive takes three days to dry. So, it was just a case of choosing to get a couple of small jobs done beforehand, as I didn't want to attach them during the drying process.
