Being Polish I'm constantly surprised how similar our languages are. I think 80% names of body parts are the same or almost the same (like chin - in polish it's "podbródek"while in ukrainian it's "pidbridia". Слава Україні.

Thanks for the lesson, very interesting and useful as usual. I already knew some of these, for example the word for "head" from the hilarious phrase "каша в голові" (I'm going to start saying "porridge for brains" in English because it translates so well and it's funny as well as spot on), and the word for eyebrows from the beautiful word чорноброва, which means "woman with dark eyebrows" = "a beautiful woman"... like Inna ☺However it's a good thing I'm learning the word for "knees" because mine are a chronic mess, and that's something I need to be able to say! 💙💛
3:17 You have no idea what valuable information this is!!! Thanks for that! I'm learning via Duolingo, but the app tells you how a sentence should sound, but doesn't explain why. No I know one simple rule more!

Fun fact: In slovenian, we have besides singular and plural also the dual case which almost all slavic have languages lost. Body parts that come in pairs, like hands, ears or legs are an exception and can only be in singular and plural.
Excellent video! However, I am surprised that you omitted the names of certain parts of the body - breast, penis, and vagina. These should be taught, just as they are to 7 or 8 old kids, so that they don’t use vulgar terms for these natural parts of the body.

I find Ukrainian pronunciation much more easier than Polish one though.😊

Inna, giving up the best parts of you. Incredibly relaxed sombre. So nice, to know my fingers arent just toes, in Ukrainian.

Very good lesson! But it seems to miss a few important body parts. Like "brain" ;)
The word Stehno Стегно = thigh alongside it's plural form
About 90% like in Polish (with very small differences)
Hi, what does leygava means in your language ?
Is it a name or it means anything ?

I haven't heard about Magpies thing in Ukraine. I googled definition but I can't help.
one magpie = одна сорока
forty magpies = ?

Я не російський, тому можу помилятися, але наскільки я розумію, у російській мові є ще слово "чело", яке використовувалося за старих часів до лоба
Правильно буде "чоло".
