One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Man don’t start with that crap. This is a tuneup game, just like majority of the rest of the Top 25 nation got. Besides it’s the beginning of the season, everyone should be excited for football to be starting again, regardless who you’re playing.

Last year is done we're playing this sat with tommy & steele we had 2 pent we cleaned that up & now texas is coming to play a hungry pissed off team.

Alabama always looks great to amazing against teams that have no chance against them. Hopefully they can perform at this level when facing opponents that will put up a fight. Saban is a genius of a coach and i have high hopes for this Bama squad.

Nah Ty Simpson is already looking like a much better pure throwing QB. He picked Milroe because neither Tyler Buckner or Simpson are more experienced or athletic than Milroe.
We'll see, but the last time a Jalen came into town at Bama he never wound up winning the title. Won a lot of games, but always came up short, why? "cause you have to have a QB who can not just be an athlete at QB but who can also sit in the pocket and throw well. AJ McCarron, Greg McElroy, and Mac Jones all pocket QBs who could scramble but who preferred sitting in the pocket and killing the defense.
@zaynes5094 all those guys had first rd draft picks at wr. Milroe is the best player on the offense this year. There is no Julio, Amari, juedy, waddle or Smith running around.
As a Bama fan, I support Georgia (mainly because it's hard to root against Kirby after all he did for us).

Amazing speed a cannon arm. I seen it last year. Guy just needs more reps full confidence of the the coaching staff and they will roll tide all season.

Of the two top programs with quarterback problems going into the season Alabama looks a lot more secure and comfortable than Ohio State.
As a Buckeye fan, I can tell you this, Alabama is miles ahead of OSU. I watched the whole game and watching our offense was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve seen in a very long time..

QBs are mediocre at best, and the Oline is very bad…. It’s not going to go well this year. I’m tired of fellow OSU fans saying « everything is fine, everything fine, give it time ».
It’s like so many fans wearing pink glasses and keep thinking everything is ok while accepting a team that struggles in playoffs and gets beat by Michigan two years in a row. For the it’s acceptable… lol .

Alabama looks solid thus far and I suspect they'll keep up the momentum. As for MTSU, playing Alabama, I suppose it helps them generate some needed revenue? The down side is the resulting blowouts that generally come from P5 vs G5 (or lower) matchups, 56-7. (see also USC 66 Nevada 14. Not so fun to watch if your team is on the losing end. I reckon the B'ar is pleased as he looks down on his legacy!
$$$ money is the primary reason. The $$$ revenue discrepancy in college football is kind of ridiculous.

I'll acknowledge that IF Alabama beats a top team this year (not a relatively good group of 5 team, a top, playoff-contending team). They couldn't last year until Kansas State, in a bowl game, before bidding farewell to their best 2 players. They tried twice and lost. It'll be fact again when they prove it (and they might, but it's not a foregone conclusion).

No, I remember Alabama beating all three of them. Multiple seasons ago, with significantly different rosters. I just need to see them do it THIS SEASON before I believe they're still a top team. Last time Bama beat any of them was two years ago, when Bama beat LSU, then beat Georgia in the SEC title game before Georgia beat them in the national title game.
Yes, Alabama HAS beaten elite/top teams in the past. But they couldn't last year when it mattered. And now they no longer have Bryce Young and Will Anderson, who helped buoy a team that really didn't play as dominantly as they should've. Just because they COULD before doesn't mean they CAN now, especially after last year. They still have to prove themselves.

Appalachian State beat TX A&M last year at Kyle Field. Not as big a win as beating Michigan in Michigan Stadium (App St was FCS back then), but still pretty darn big.
Troy beat LSU after beating Nebraska the year before. LSU was warned.

Milroe is good, but if he slips up I want Ty Simpson or Tyler Buckner. This isn't me trying to be arrogant or racist at all, the fact is that out of all the QBs Alabama's had, in the Nick Saban era, they've really only won when a white QB took over.
Why? Simply because you can't really win a title with a non-throwing threat at QB and Alabama's had a lot of great dual-threat black QBs for sure, in Tua and Jalen and Bryce Young obviously breaking records in a short time starting. They're doing the same stuff now playcall-wise that they did when Jalen and Tua were there. Bryce and Tua could scramble when they needed, but they could sit in the pocket and pick you apart all night too.
This guy's really not like that. I'd like to see a few more games first, but I just don't see him getting the team to a 15-0. or 14-1.

Not liking what Im seeing, Offensive line played poorly to say it nicely. If Bama is this bad in the trenches this will be a long season. QB has a strong arm and can break big runs but nothing and I mean nothing was by design and that means hes going to struggle. They need much better plays and schemes.
If they dont make this offense real easy to configure and allow him to play catch then open up with his legs they will lose 3-4 games.

Its about as optimistic as this game could have gone for Bama fans. D looked like old school Saban and Milroe is a playmaker. Great line play and few penalties. Hopefully Malachi is OK.

USC shouldn’t even be ranked so high maybe top 15, but their own defense is going to kill them again this year. Just not as good as they’d hoped. That game against Colorado week 5 is going to tell us all we need to know about that defense.

That being said, agree with the original comment, Alabama is the clear #1 team in the country. Georgia's offense just isn't 3-peat material, pretty early but I say that with confidence due to their lack of explosive talent. Good luck the rest of the way Tide fans.
