Never complete “primed” machines. A primed machine is a machine that is not fully completed. These types of machines are usually near the elevator and is almost full. They do this because it makes it easier for other toons in panic mode so that they can activate it when everyone is already near the elevator. Do this when you see a main, if its a blackout, and in floors 10+ Edit: when theres a primed machine, most likely that people will talk about when to “pop” it. “Pop” is the term to complete the machine. Thought this might not be the best idea if you’re dealing with Dandy, since he will get called to it. But of course, there will be cases when priming machines will be useful even when Dandy is present (T! Glisten, T! Fin, etc.), or if you have a fairly well coordinated team.
@@Gooseking65It still works with Dandy, finishing a primed machine means usually most the people are at elevator and ready to go in, primed machines are near ele's, so everyone is safe when they get in, Dandy is too slow to get there if everyone is closer to the elevator. Worst case scenario is that someone finishes the primed machine when 2/3 of the team is not at ele and it brings Dandy to the elevator where people may die.
i remember when I did a machine and primed it, a Rodger was infront of me while doing it, he saw me say primed don't do then proceded to get on the machine and do it, and when I said "?!" he said oh sorry. I was like it's fine maybe he didn't see. then I did the other machine in the same room and primed it cause it was a blackout and then a Gigi came and saw me say primed and still did it 😭and when I questioned her she just said I didn't know sorry I was like okay..
Another unspoken rule!: if there is a sprout on your team leave tapes that are on the floor for them. Doing such will allow the sprout to heal other players, thus helping the team.
Another tip: never interrupt distractors by going near them! Trust me, as long as they know what they're doing, they'll be alright so no need to purposely interrupt them. plus they're more likely to get hit getting the twisted back from you.
Unless your astro or a high stealth toon, because then you can pass through safely (But obv, tell the distractor your passing through so they don't turn around and get hit)
Tbh main only runs can be a hit or miss I once joined a main only run and the FULL team made it to floor 20 (we got pebble a black out a gift shop map and died.)
Oooo oki so I have tips too! (For starters AND pros or just anyone in general too.) - Please be kind to starters too, especially if they're truly new to the game. We all started as starter Toons, so harassing a starter is not really ideal and it may cause the starter to either leave, think the community is toxic, be stubborn, or make them downright sad. Most starters are kind, but keep and mind some others aren't. - If there is no distractor or Cosmo on the team, and you see a healing items such as a med or a band, you can call someone who's on low health. - If you have veemote (Vee Remote) on a solo run, I suggest using it on the farthest machine from the elevator. In any run, solo or not, you can also use it in spots where you can't escape a twisted if they spot you, like any tight spots where a machine is. - These are the distractors: Pebble, Sprout, Goob, Tisha, Flutter. Distractor trinkets are the Speedy Shoes and Dog Plush (Toodles' trinket) Cosmo Tips: - If you play Cosmo, you have higher stealth than average. You can use this stealth to get near injured distractors and quickly leave once you finish healing them. - I suggest you only heal someone when that Toon is on one heart. Your priorities are mainly distractors, other healers, and if they are on full hearts, you can start healing the others too. - FIND THE HEALS. Distractor Tips: - Not many people know this, but I suggest having Pebble as BACKUP distractor or as someone to kite for the main distractor if the main distractor is one one heart. - Do NOT distract near UNFINISHED machines. - Your job is a distractor and so that means TAKE TWISTEDS AWAY FROM OTHER TOONSS - Don't distract near the elevator. Fake elevator is commonly a good place to distract but NOT ALL THE TIME - Distract in one place! Terms: Prime: This means to stop doing a machine near its completion. This is preferably used on a machine near the elevator. This is not really a common term so make sure to notify the starters! Priming a machine is recommended when there is a main twisted or blackout on the floor. This can also come out as 'Primed', 'Priming', etc. Only complete this machine when it's the very last machine to be completed. Pop: This mostly isn't used for the item Pop, NONONO, it's mainly used when someone is about to complete a primed machine and basically telling everyone (except the distractor) to GTEEE - GTE/G2E: Go To Elevator.
also EAE is very important for distractors (means everyone at elevator) because sometimes the distractor either doesn’t make kit in time because they think people are still getting to the elevator, or they lead the twisteds to the elevator and a few people that haven’t reached it yet take hits
Some rules or things I’d like to say 1. Dear distractors, if your using a toon like brightney, goob, and pebs to distract, I’ll let you know sometimes you shouldn’t be scared unless one of the toons have lower or the same stealth as you. This can cause a problem. Let’s say your using goob, and you have a cosmo on your team, remember that cosmo has 4 star stealth. Now if cosmo gets near you have to only be careful not to make the twisteds lose track of you but other than that you have half the stealth of cosmo so you don’t have to turn corners or move 2. Not all runs are dandy runs, sometimes people that are not the host will say to not buy, even tho you should ask everyone considering buying is also sometimes crucial (idk if I used the right context for this word but if I didn’t then replace that with important) 3. This is a TEAM game, don’t be greedy (somewhat in the video) and also don’t grief (it’s bannable) also I really reccomend no drama I might add more and remind me to add any but that’s all for now
I mean I use the term “no heal no deal” a lot, it’s not true but in general it’s a good thing to use when considering buying, if you don’t have anything for stamina or speed and it’s a later floor and you’re a slow toon then you should buy pop and chocolate but USUALLY no heal no deal
I only grief when I feel like I wanna spice up my gameplay instead of searching for nightmare/freeze tag runs, although I try to save others from other griefers so I can grief them, until it escalates to griefer wars in the lobby where we try to lead twisteds to eachother
That's why im scared of playing with people, so now im only doing solo runs (i got harassed once for picking up a bandage and for typing in chat too much)
I just play solo since I'm new and I don't wanna be bullied or be told to just wait in a corner while they play, it has happened before and it was boring.

Finally someone understand how the dandy rules work...if you a starter... actually just play solo so you can get good at the game...i recommend buy thisa because you not gonna get count as starter anymore...only main issues gonna be that you have no trinket...for frist just buy a shoes from dandy shop at lobby ... second try 100% twist poppy because his trinket it one of the most useful trinket...i hope i could help you manage to play with outer people...i start like you...i play solo run for 3 day and when i got goob i start entering the team run "back in my day thsia wasn't came out yet" and now i have all the main "expect vee because i still grinding ichor for it" and most of the normal toons...you gonna get it man just try become good at game :3 @@DS-vv6ui

If you ever hear "FACELESS SHRIMPO HUNT" I still don't really know what it is, how it works, or if it's a myth, but I got told in order to get him it's the same way of a dandys run
it’s actually a bug related to shrimpo’s character model and face features. sometimes the model will randomly spawn in servers and sometimes there could be a bug related to his facial features, causing them to not load properly (i’m js copying what a dev said so this faceless shrimpo might be removed when dandy’s world gets rid of those types of bugs)
All new distractores SHOULD know that if panic mode starts they should and NEED to loose the twisteds some where not near the elevator, I have seen a lot of new distractors get in ele with twisteds still chasing after them, and then someone may get hit, and if it is a healer then it's even worse so if youre a new distractor PLEASE loose the twisteds somewhere else that isn't the front of the working elevator 😭😭
another rule: dont extract a machine another person was extracting if that person dint die or dint let you do it(Starters steal machines all the time but people more experienced people almost never steals machine because they know how annoying it is)
But if a person was extracting the machine and had to leave to escape a twisted, wouldn't it be easier and faster to finish his machine and to finish the floor as soon as possible? Why would that be bad? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm a beginner and I want to understand how the game works.
Welp normally it doesn't matter unless that person who working on it have still interested to come back and finish his machine...if he got too far away because maybe someone says band or a twisted start chasing him...than you can go after the machine... don't go if they still have internet to finish it...and never forget that always there is some toxic player who usually get mad at everything...you don't need mind him but if you don't want a drama try to avoid him to let them have something they want...they usually try kill you if you make him mad...yeah buddy toxic player exist on all game...some have more and some have less@@queijo4218
Most of the players (even experienced) do not understand the stealth stat, so I’ll try to explain it here. The stealth stat determines the detection range of twisteds and which toon they will prefer. Might sound quite weird, but don’t worry, as I’ll give some examples. If you have two toons with different stealth, for example Teagan (who has 2*) and Cosmo (who has 4*) in the range of a twisted, the twisted will follow Teagan. If Teagn cuts the twisted’s “los” (line of sight) by hiding behind walls/crates/tables/etc. (Machines *do not* cut los, you *cannot* hide behind them) a “countdown” will start. This is the attention span, which is different for many twisteds, and determines how long the twisted will hold agro on you after you cut los. The exact attention spans of twisteds are on the wiki. The attention span will not apply under one circumstance. If the Teagan from earlier cuts the los of the twisted, and the Cosmo is still in the detection range of the twisted (aka in its los), the attention span will not apply, and the twisted will immediately agro on Cosmo. This exeption works for any toons. If two toons with the same stealth are in the detection range of a twisted (for example Rodger and Shelly, who both have 3*) the twisted will prefer whoever is closer to it. Some times/trinkets/abilities alter your stealth. Note that any stealth boosting item or the “Diary” trinket *will not be helpful at all* if you’re playing as Brightney or Shrimpo. This is because the items and the diary boost your stealth by x% amd Brightney’s stealth is 0 (1* = 0 stealth, 2* = 5 stealth, 3* = 10 stealth, etc.) and Shrimpo’s is -99 (iirc). I would avoid using these items on these exact toons. The diary doesn’t boost by a full star (I believe it boosts by 25% and that will never equal a full star) and while it might be good for when you want to be detected less, if a Teagan (2*) stands farther from a twisted than a Rodger (3*), supposing they both are in the detection range of a twisted, the Teagan will still get chased and the Rodger will be left alone. I believe that’s it, and tell me if I forgot anything ^^
REAL. i joined one and everyone died at like.. floor 3? and then another one at floor 4. IT WAS ONLY ME AND ANOTHER PERSON LEFT. i forgot what floor we got to, but im guessing that it was possibly floor 12
I grab heals during panic mode as pebble when everyone is in the elevator, and I still get heat for doing it, just doesn't make sense. People also can't seem to handle it when I have my own playstyle of extracting with pebble and distracting with Brightney.
The communication thing bothers me alot. I see alot of people suddenly decide they are gonna distract, when i clarify that i will be distracting. ( this one time this pebble i think kept stealing twisteds from me, which got either me or them hurt while stealing the twisted when i was trying to distract, they accidentally brought twisteds to everyone the entire game and pretty obviously wasnt good at distracting, ) But i hate when people dont make any clarification if they are gonna distract, or not. Worse is when they do it when the game already started and i equipped speed trinkets just for them to distract.
IMO, If you only have 1 healer.. just let THEM have the heals, they need it to heal EVERYONE. (Unless it’s Sprout & there’s a medkit, he only needs Bandages.)
some things you missed: if this is for starters, it’s important to state the rodger and rnd stuff, like don’t pick up the rodger capsules or don’t run in the circle. (also what they look like)
Another rule! If there's a Teagan or Sprout on your team, leave tapes for them! Teagan needs 100 tapes to heal themselves and Sprout can heal other toons at the cost of 100 tapes!

I’m not here for rules but I’m here for something very confusing of the game Why when someone host a run, get enough people, run into elevator.. why do they have to leave the elevator last seconds??? (and everyone else leave the elevator too).. Just to go to another elevator and do the same thing.. I don’t understand..
i feel like it's becase usually when you host a run in a public server, there has to be *atleast 1* noob in that same server. they will most likely follow the people around and try to desperately join them, and even if you tell them to leave they won't. and they are actually both annoying and also damaging to your run because if they die early you have 1 less person to help in the run overall
If there are no distractors or healers heres what i do - Bands are for Mains Meds are for toons in need of them If nobody is hurt for the med, then the slowest/less stealthy toon will get it (Cough. i hate you brightney mains, but truth is truth /j)
For the first one, if there are no cosmos or distractors, then give the health items to the toon at the lowest health (one heart) if two or more toons have one heart, then give it to the toon with lower stealth/ lower movement speed/ who is contributing more to the run/ other criteria If both both of them are the SAME toon, with simalar trinkets etc etc, idk whu needs it more?
Another unspoken rule- NEVER go into the middle of the area where the distractor is ESPECIALLY if you're playing Brightney or Vee (people may not hate on you if you're vee because your're a main but I wouldnt be surprised if they got toxic because you were Brightney)
I use body language when playing on console, like spinning around a band infront cosmo or wait to see if anyone bought from dandy so i can see is it a dandy run or not
Also don't use Bluetooth to use a controller on phone, b peaches while your typing there's a bug where it swaps to PC keyboard controls and your unable to leave the typing option.
here are my opinions on heal prior: Distractor, cosmo, lowest health toon, sprout, least stealthy toon, Main toons and normal toons. Becuz distractors like mentioned will take the most hits, cosmo heals by using his health, lowest health is pretty obvoius, sprout cuz healer, least stealthy toons will be seen by twisteds more, mains have less health and then theres normal perfectly fine toons nothin to say here. :D
Another unspoken rule: if there is no cosmo and no distractor, then give bandages/medkits to the player at the lowest hp If more then one player if at lowest hp (e.g. 2 people at 1 hp), then give the bandage/medkit to the least experienced of them (e.g. A boxten and a glisten are both at 1 hp. There is one bandage. Give the bandage to the boxten, since they are most likely a starter)
Sure, i have some tips! 1. If you’re distracting as anyone but pebble, sprint in panic mode until there’s about 20 seconds left on the timer, then get to the elevator as fast as you can bcos everyone SHOULD be there by then 2. Say gte at the beginning of a machine (like 1/4 of the way done) to make sure everyone gets to the elevator in time, this is especially good if your distractor refuses to distract in panic mode. 3. Tell healers if you have bought or gambled heals (you can gamble heals as Gigi) and not to heal you, especially if you have a medkit and are on 2 hearts.
Idk why but this isn't really a unspoken rule , don't force someone to do something they don't wanna do. Example is Goobs wanting to extract. And people just yell at the. If they use non Extracting trinkets you could get mad of them.
tips; "eae" its used to tell distractors that everyone is in the elevator which makes it easier for them (also do not wait outside for the distractor to come to elevator, i've seen people get hurt because they didn't react in time to go back in ele) and don't wait outside the ele for countdown to go down as that generally could annoy ur team also if ur getting chased do not bring it to someone else (unless its somone who made it clear their distracting), stay away from distractors, i've seen people get hurt when they wanted to 'save' the distractor, its nice and all but they end up sometimes leading the twisteds away from the distractors causing the distractor to have to run around and try and get them back again
It was crazy the first time I joined a run as sprout and they didn’t take a single useless item or tape and just left them for me and I had like 400 tapes by floor 5 it was an insane experience at the time for me bc I was so used to being broke af as sprout 😭🙏
Personally for the first one, from someone who is relatively still new (I’m grinding tho so I’m doing well), I think it’s better to say in chat “Band” or “Med” and then ask if anyone needs it. If someone needs it, let them take it. If no one needs it but you do, you can take it if you really need it (for like when ur at 1 heart). If no one needs it in general, I’d say either leave it behind or have someone pick it up just for safety, for instance a distractor or healer, hell, maybe even a Toon with slow speed or low stamina could pick it up just in case they get hit too many times and can’t really run that far away. That’s just my personal opinion, please do not murder me with words if you disagree :>

If you play as Brightney with speed trinkets, you can be a distractor. The key is how to make work that stuff, so don't be afraid to use every trinket with multiple characters 3: Never join a main run or long run. There can be good runs like those, but in public, if you're new to the game, they MAY not let you in cuz you don't have a main and Long runs are pretty rare to get on high floor with most toons alive passing floor 10, so i suggest you to gather ppl or add them as friends and join a private server. Alr, i guess thats all, i wanna yap about more stuff but idk... Maybe on part two.
my opinions 0:20 why give cosmo's and goobs ALL the heals, why cant the other ppl get a medkit incase? also what if im playing a mixed playstyle goob? (extractor, distractor. support) 0:48 acceptable,, but lets say the run was a main hunt and people just TURN it into a dandy run, I dont really know if buying would be acceptable or not in that situation 1:12 yes. overall opinions follow this.
(Replying to the second one). I think in that case it’s better to avoid buying, but the players can’t really get mad on you if you do so, since you didn’t join the run to get twisted Dandy.
The reason for the first one is bcuz cosmos can heal anybody except themselves and they waste their hp to heal others. And distractors is bcuz they risk their live just so others get to a high floor.
Goob only can distract plus yeah I also agree with the first one like I already steal medkit and bandage from Cosmo like why do Cosmo players even need medkit or bandage ain’t there healing me or anything

Lol I was like that at first too, was seconds off a small meltdown when trying to join teams the first time. If it's any benefit doing solo is a definite option and if you get in a run with others saying med, band and gte are almost all you actually *have* to say, I quite rarely talk with my teammates otherwise tbh.
If you’d like, you can just do solo and don’t play with anybody. Plus, the only things you would really have to say is “Med” “Band” “gte” or if there is a main character. In fact, you don’t rlly have to say anything. Just play the game solo or do it with other ppl (quietly)
Not unspoken but it needs to be discussed more: If you're playing as a "Distraction" toon you should make it known if you're going to extract or distract, a lot of the time when I was as someone like Goob/Pebble I get hate for not distracting even tho I said I wouldn't.
Unfortunately some don't have a chat. The ones on Xbox for example. Just be kind and have patience with everyone! If a run goes sideways don't worry you can always join another.
This isn’t exactly a ‘rule’ but more so a tip: if you’re saving up for toons and get 100+ ichor DONT BUY SHRIMPO because he’s the hardest character in the game and is only recommended for experienced players. And if you do play as him don’t get super upset when people don’t let you in runs (especially if it’s a long run or main hunt) and if you are I’d suggest asking for permission (not being mean towards Shrimpo players because i play as him all the time lol)
on my first time playing dandy's world (i was poppy) i had joined some random people's group and they said "we should do a dandy run!" and i didnt know what it was and i was low on health so i bought something and they got mad at me. one of them said "poppys never listen" like dude i didnt even know what a dandy run was

No you don’t have to give a band / med to Cosmo if you’re on one heart it won’t make a difference if they grab a band and heal you using it that’s just wasting their ability it’s easier to just grab it and use it
Every time i get hurt or 1 heart and im distracting i am a good soul jesus and a good fellow man so when im 1 heart and kiting i always give it to cosmo or other people 1 heart
okay so what i got from this video is that i should always take the bands and meds for myself, i should always buy in a dandys run and of course never speak in chat once. (joking)
I went in 5 long runs for experiments, results: Only one reached floor 20, i was distracting in that one I ended up alone in the end at the rest They were all toxics player and toonists
mains are toons/characters that have a rainbow square icon in the shop, they have 2 abilities at the cost of having 2 hearts! theyre *usually* more useful than normal toons especially in teams
I've seen you Razzle n Dazzle they have done absolutely nothing even when they're twisted they do nothing at all I have no idea and I never see them do anything so tell me what do they do they are just weak twisteds what do they do tell me please respond in the comments cuz I have no idea
rnd (razzle & dazzle) normally sit in their circle, but if some toon sprints in the circle, rnd attack everyone in the circle, UNLESS theyre behind a wall/obstacle and rnd cant see them
It’s actually my 1/3 Goob shapeshifter kinsona! His Goob form has a tail that is designed like that and all his forms are slightly altered compared the original so it’s easier to tell the difference and she wasn’t meant to blend in like others

Another tip: never interrupt distractors by going near them! Trust me, as long as they know what they're doing, they'll be alright so no need to purposely interrupt them. plus they're more likely to get hit getting the twisted back from you.

(For starters AND pros or just anyone in general too.)
- Please be kind to starters too, especially if they're truly new to the game. We all started as starter Toons, so harassing a starter is not really ideal and it may cause the starter to either leave, think the community is toxic, be stubborn, or make them downright sad. Most starters are kind, but keep and mind some others aren't.
- If there is no distractor or Cosmo on the team, and you see a healing items such as a med or a band, you can call someone who's on low health.
- If you have veemote (Vee Remote) on a solo run, I suggest using it on the farthest machine from the elevator. In any run, solo or not, you can also use it in spots where you can't escape a twisted if they spot you, like any tight spots where a machine is.
- These are the distractors: Pebble, Sprout, Goob, Tisha, Flutter. Distractor trinkets are the Speedy Shoes and Dog Plush (Toodles' trinket)
Cosmo Tips:
- If you play Cosmo, you have higher stealth than average. You can use this stealth to get near injured distractors and quickly leave once you finish healing them.
- I suggest you only heal someone when that Toon is on one heart. Your priorities are mainly distractors, other healers, and if they are on full hearts, you can start healing the others too.
- FIND THE HEALS.
Distractor Tips:
- Not many people know this, but I suggest having Pebble as BACKUP distractor or as someone to kite for the main distractor if the main distractor is one one heart.
- Do NOT distract near UNFINISHED machines.
- Your job is a distractor and so that means TAKE TWISTEDS AWAY FROM OTHER TOONSS
- Don't distract near the elevator. Fake elevator is commonly a good place to distract but NOT ALL THE TIME
- Distract in one place!
Terms:
Prime: This means to stop doing a machine near its completion. This is preferably used on a machine near the elevator. This is not really a common term so make sure to notify the starters! Priming a machine is recommended when there is a main twisted or blackout on the floor. This can also come out as 'Primed', 'Priming', etc. Only complete this machine when it's the very last machine to be completed.
Pop: This mostly isn't used for the item Pop, NONONO, it's mainly used when someone is about to complete a primed machine and basically telling everyone (except the distractor) to GTEEE
- GTE/G2E: Go To Elevator.
also EAE is very important for distractors (means everyone at elevator) because sometimes the distractor either doesn’t make kit in time because they think people are still getting to the elevator, or they lead the twisteds to the elevator and a few people that haven’t reached it yet take hits
Why use “pop” instead of gte, like I understand prime but maybe you made a mistake and “pop” is telling people to complete primed machine?

Some rules or things I’d like to say
1. Dear distractors, if your using a toon like brightney, goob, and pebs to distract, I’ll let you know sometimes you shouldn’t be scared unless one of the toons have lower or the same stealth as you. This can cause a problem. Let’s say your using goob, and you have a cosmo on your team, remember that cosmo has 4 star stealth. Now if cosmo gets near you have to only be careful not to make the twisteds lose track of you but other than that you have half the stealth of cosmo so you don’t have to turn corners or move
2. Not all runs are dandy runs, sometimes people that are not the host will say to not buy, even tho you should ask everyone considering buying is also sometimes crucial (idk if I used the right context for this word but if I didn’t then replace that with important)
3. This is a TEAM game, don’t be greedy (somewhat in the video) and also don’t grief (it’s bannable) also I really reccomend no drama
I might add more and remind me to add any but that’s all for now
I mean I use the term “no heal no deal” a lot, it’s not true but in general it’s a good thing to use when considering buying, if you don’t have anything for stamina or speed and it’s a later floor and you’re a slow toon then you should buy pop and chocolate but USUALLY no heal no deal
"Don't be a jerk." I say this because it overall hurts the team, especially the ones who try to grief just because someone "stole a machine."
I only grief when I feel like I wanna spice up my gameplay instead of searching for nightmare/freeze tag runs, although I try to save others from other griefers so I can grief them, until it escalates to griefer wars in the lobby where we try to lead twisteds to eachother
That's why im scared of playing with people, so now im only doing solo runs (i got harassed once for picking up a bandage and for typing in chat too much)

If you ever hear "FACELESS SHRIMPO HUNT" I still don't really know what it is, how it works, or if it's a myth, but I got told in order to get him it's the same way of a dandys run
it’s actually a bug related to shrimpo’s character model and face features. sometimes the model will randomly spawn in servers and sometimes there could be a bug related to his facial features, causing them to not load properly (i’m js copying what a dev said so this faceless shrimpo might be removed when dandy’s world gets rid of those types of bugs)
one thing that makes things more complicated for me is that i cant see chat im on xbox which makes it harder to play the game
All new distractores SHOULD know that if panic mode starts they should and NEED to loose the twisteds some where not near the elevator, I have seen a lot of new distractors get in ele with twisteds still chasing after them, and then someone may get hit, and if it is a healer then it's even worse so if youre a new distractor PLEASE loose the twisteds somewhere else that isn't the front of the working elevator 😭😭

Most of the players (even experienced) do not understand the stealth stat, so I’ll try to explain it here.
The stealth stat determines the detection range of twisteds and which toon they will prefer. Might sound quite weird, but don’t worry, as I’ll give some examples.
If you have two toons with different stealth, for example Teagan (who has 2*) and Cosmo (who has 4*) in the range of a twisted, the twisted will follow Teagan. If Teagn cuts the twisted’s “los” (line of sight) by hiding behind walls/crates/tables/etc. (Machines *do not* cut los, you *cannot* hide behind them) a “countdown” will start. This is the attention span, which is different for many twisteds, and determines how long the twisted will hold agro on you after you cut los. The exact attention spans of twisteds are on the wiki.
The attention span will not apply under one circumstance. If the Teagan from earlier cuts the los of the twisted, and the Cosmo is still in the detection range of the twisted (aka in its los), the attention span will not apply, and the twisted will immediately agro on Cosmo. This exeption works for any toons.
If two toons with the same stealth are in the detection range of a twisted (for example Rodger and Shelly, who both have 3*) the twisted will prefer whoever is closer to it.
Some times/trinkets/abilities alter your stealth. Note that any stealth boosting item or the “Diary” trinket *will not be helpful at all* if you’re playing as Brightney or Shrimpo. This is because the items and the diary boost your stealth by x% amd Brightney’s stealth is 0 (1* = 0 stealth, 2* = 5 stealth, 3* = 10 stealth, etc.) and Shrimpo’s is -99 (iirc). I would avoid using these items on these exact toons.
The diary doesn’t boost by a full star (I believe it boosts by 25% and that will never equal a full star) and while it might be good for when you want to be detected less, if a Teagan (2*) stands farther from a twisted than a Rodger (3*), supposing they both are in the detection range of a twisted, the Teagan will still get chased and the Rodger will be left alone.

I grab heals during panic mode as pebble when everyone is in the elevator, and I still get heat for doing it, just doesn't make sense. People also can't seem to handle it when I have my own playstyle of extracting with pebble and distracting with Brightney.
The communication thing bothers me alot. I see alot of people suddenly decide they are gonna distract, when i clarify that i will be distracting. ( this one time this pebble i think kept stealing twisteds from me, which got either me or them hurt while stealing the twisted when i was trying to distract, they accidentally brought twisteds to everyone the entire game and pretty obviously wasnt good at distracting, ) But i hate when people dont make any clarification if they are gonna distract, or not. Worse is when they do it when the game already started and i equipped speed trinkets just for them to distract.

i feel like it's becase usually when you host a run in a public server, there has to be *atleast 1* noob in that same server. they will most likely follow the people around and try to desperately join them, and even if you tell them to leave they won't. and they are actually both annoying and also damaging to your run because if they die early you have 1 less person to help in the run overall

Bands are for Mains
Meds are for toons in need of them
If nobody is hurt for the med, then the slowest/less stealthy toon will get it

For the first one, if there are no cosmos or distractors, then give the health items to the toon at the lowest health (one heart) if two or more toons have one heart, then give it to the toon with lower stealth/ lower movement speed/ who is contributing more to the run/ other criteria If both both of them are the SAME toon, with simalar trinkets etc etc, idk whu needs it more?
Give it to the one who would get hit more, to make sure you don't lose them if that happens! :D
Usually try give them to sprout because you know he's a healer and can heal anyone...but himself can't heal himself...
Another unspoken rule- NEVER go into the middle of the area where the distractor is ESPECIALLY if you're playing Brightney or Vee (people may not hate on you if you're vee because your're a main but I wouldnt be surprised if they got toxic because you were Brightney)

here are my opinions on heal prior: Distractor, cosmo, lowest health toon, sprout, least stealthy toon, Main toons and normal toons. Becuz distractors like mentioned will take the most hits, cosmo heals by using his health, lowest health is pretty obvoius, sprout cuz healer, least stealthy toons will be seen by twisteds more, mains have less health and then theres normal perfectly fine toons nothin to say here.

If more then one player if at lowest hp (e.g. 2 people at 1 hp), then give the bandage/medkit to the least experienced of them (e.g. A boxten and a glisten are both at 1 hp. There is one bandage. Give the bandage to the boxten, since they are most likely a starter)

Sure, i have some tips!
1. If you’re distracting as anyone but pebble, sprint in panic mode until there’s about 20 seconds left on the timer, then get to the elevator as fast as you can bcos everyone SHOULD be there by then
2. Say gte at the beginning of a machine (like 1/4 of the way done) to make sure everyone gets to the elevator in time, this is especially good if your distractor refuses to distract in panic mode.
3. Tell healers if you have bought or gambled heals (you can gamble heals as Gigi) and not to heal you, especially if you have a medkit and are on 2 hearts.
Idk why but this isn't really a unspoken rule , don't force someone to do something they don't wanna do. Example is Goobs wanting to extract. And people just yell at the. If they use non Extracting trinkets you could get mad of them.
tips; "eae" its used to tell distractors that everyone is in the elevator which makes it easier for them (also do not wait outside for the distractor to come to elevator, i've seen people get hurt because they didn't react in time to go back in ele) and don't wait outside the ele for countdown to go down as that generally could annoy ur team also if ur getting chased do not bring it to someone else (unless its somone who made it clear their distracting), stay away from distractors, i've seen people get hurt when they wanted to 'save' the distractor, its nice and all but they end up sometimes leading the twisteds away from the distractors causing the distractor to have to run around and try and get them back again
It was crazy the first time I joined a run as sprout and they didn’t take a single useless item or tape and just left them for me and I had like 400 tapes by floor 5 it was an insane experience at the time for me bc I was so used to being broke af as sprout 😭🙏
Personally for the first one, from someone who is relatively still new (I’m grinding tho so I’m doing well), I think it’s better to say in chat “Band” or “Med” and then ask if anyone needs it.
If someone needs it, let them take it. If no one needs it but you do, you can take it if you really need it (for like when ur at 1 heart).
If no one needs it in general, I’d say either leave it behind or have someone pick it up just for safety, for instance a distractor or healer, hell, maybe even a Toon with slow speed or low stamina could pick it up just in case they get hit too many times and can’t really run that far away.

The key is how to make work that stuff, so don't be afraid to use every trinket with multiple characters
3: Never join a main run or long run. There can be good runs like those, but in public, if you're new to the game, they MAY not let you in cuz you don't have a main and Long runs are pretty rare to get on high floor with most toons alive passing floor 10, so i suggest you to gather ppl or add them as friends and join a private server.

If you're playing as a "Distraction" toon you should make it known if you're going to extract or distract, a lot of the time when I was as someone like Goob/Pebble I get hate for not distracting even tho I said I wouldn't.
Unfortunately some don't have a chat. The ones on Xbox for example. Just be kind and have patience with everyone! If a run goes sideways don't worry you can always join another.

This isn’t exactly a ‘rule’ but more so a tip: if you’re saving up for toons and get 100+ ichor DONT BUY SHRIMPO because he’s the hardest character in the game and is only recommended for experienced players. And if you do play as him don’t get super upset when people don’t let you in runs (especially if it’s a long run or main hunt) and if you are I’d suggest asking for permission (not being mean towards Shrimpo players because i play as him all the time lol)
on my first time playing dandy's world (i was poppy) i had joined some random people's group and they said "we should do a dandy run!" and i didnt know what it was and i was low on health so i bought something and they got mad at me. one of them said "poppys never listen" like dude i didnt even know what a dandy run was

It’s actually my 1/3 Goob shapeshifter kinsona! His Goob form has a tail that is designed like that and all his forms are slightly altered compared the original so it’s easier to tell the difference and she wasn’t meant to blend in like others
