Taking nothing away from it is, it is a great launch, but I had a GSX-R750 of the same period beautiful clutch and well balanced bike actually easier to launch a smaller bike sometimes as long as it’s got enough power (0 to 60 especially is easier on a Smaller bike than a litre bike)
It was actually 2.9 or 3 seconds that you got to 100, and that’s an indicated speed. Actual speed would’ve been 94 or something. So probably 3.2 seconds.
I guess im not understanding how he hit 0 to 100 in 3 seconds when the bikes call for 3.3 seconds stock not saying he didnt do a good job cause thats one helluva launch.

Sure a porsche is better in the rain, you have room for a passenger, but you never get the same (dangerous) excitement and feeling of freedom like on a motorcycle. And yeah you do compare performance. Where I live I can buy a $1000 motorcycle that goes faster than most modern sportcars that cost 80-100.000 dollar. It does say something and it is relevant. Of course the car is more safer and comfortable, and yet also more expensive and restricting. Both are objects that move you around eh ;D.
@@Dennell_Mount_and_Blade all comes down to preference. for some reason im not feeling lusty to ride a superbike but i would kill to drive a 1000hp++++ brutal ass car, and if I were to buy a bike myself, it would be a vintage eastern european or soviet bike :D i got a soft spot for those. of course those aren't fast but then again i'm just not feeling tempted about superbikes however I'd love to feel riding a Junak or Dnepr on village roads, quintesence of eastern european young guy's life in 70's and 80's :d Overall I respect bikes a lot being a petrolhead, they are different class vehicles to cars and cannot really be compared, that being said modern superbikes destroy supercars in acceleration (until like 250kmh at least), but my heart is owned by cars anyways, sorry :D
It's sped up period a stock gsxr600 2001 runs 3.3 seconds 0 to 60 so for anyone who thinks they know what they are talking about knows nothing and if you believe one trapped the same times the bike does stock from 0 to 60 as it would to 100 is smoking some poles. 😂

On a 600 it's literally not that hard to keep it down,the 1ks are where it's troublesome.
It’s speedo might be off by 10-15 kms if it has a different size sprocket but if his speedo is correct that’s insane

I froze screen at 3,070 and then it says 104, but the speedometer usually exaggerates about 5 km/h, so I would say 1-100 in about 3,070 secs.
