When my daughter was small, about 3 years old, she told me (even I hadn't told her anything about karma or reincarnation) that she chose me and she "flied" in to my stomach and when we die, she is going to choose me again :) But when she got angry with me, she cried: "I never fly to your stomach any more - I choose someone else!"
You´re sure, you never talked about reincarnation with someone else, while she was present? You know children may be very quiete and play with their toys, but listen very much to what adults talk about with each other in the same room...
***** I am Wiccan and we dont talk about reincarnation but my son told me he also choose me. He came out with some really amazing stuff. I know many will doubt but we dont even have tv in my house and he cant read. I had to google to find this vid and encounters and I am shocked to find more people.
bluesky704 Thank you! I hope that I've been a good person to my daughter. Now, when she is an adult, I have started to feel that SHE is the good person, not me.
I remember choosing my mom. I could see how passionate she was about the world. On the negative side, it stressed her out, and caused her to make mistakes. Don't be in such a hurry to hope that you can see your past lives. I remember them because I died violently twice, and I remember karma that caused it. My memories stayed because I had a death where memories slowly evaporated. I was faced with the same sitatation that caused my problems in the 16th century, dealt with it better this time
I believe that reincarnation goes on infinitely, with karma climbing higher and higher and higher. Also, I believe there is only 1 soul. The only reason we see a world full of different people/living beings, is because The One Soul reincarnated over and over again in each and every living being. The One Soul transcends space and time. This way karma makes a lot of sense; hurting someone else, is like hurting yourself in another incarnation; you are hurting the One Soul. (t.b.c.)
I remember picking my parents after I died in my other life and was preparing to come into this life. I remember crying and telling a "Being" that was with me that I did not want new parents. I said I wanted my other parents. The " Being " told me not to worry and it is all the same. He said I will come to love my new parents just as much as my other parents. For over 40 years I thought that only I knew that the soul can pick their parents.
I believe my youngest son is his father father that drowned way before his birth. They're born the same day. On the day I went into labor I had an overwhelming sense to go swimming. We did and he came back just like that! My son has the same condition of abnormal growth of cells just like his grandfather did!
In this way, you can not say 'let those with bas karma feel the consequences'... You ought to help them, because you ought to help the One Soul. Helping them, is in fact helping yourself in another incarnation. Nobody 'deserves' bad karma. Everybody deserves knowledge of and communion with the One Soul. To let people suffer while you are in a position to help them and make a difference, is bad for your own karma! Unconditional love for ALL LIVING BEINGS is the only logical conclusion here!
the idea of karma always makes me feel a bit like the lowest of the low kinda perosn why am i so unhappy does it mean i was a horrible person in my previous life does it mean i'm a horrible person now?..it makes me hate myself...and why do i have to pay for some other persons mistakes that i dont even know of ?..its still pretty sad
How quickly can you come back after death? My grandmother passed away in August of 2003 then 3 months later i was pregnant with my son,now understand that we couldn't get pregnant for 5 years before that.My grandmother like me, before she passed had 1 child a girl, but she always wanted a boy, could my son be my grandmother,or could she just have helped me out with a son, because i wanted one just like her? PLEASE REPLY...P.E.A.C.E & LOVE..
Not sure how to explain this but when I met up with my currant partner as we where teen friends for a very long time but went seperate ways we had a drink and got chatting and fell in love with each other all over again. I hugged him for a long time and I seen in my minds eye a baby boy being handed to me from like angelic type beings. It was so beautiful. We waited years to have kids though. Sorted ourselves out and the timmings worked out great. We have 3 kids now. We know each other 20 odd years.
I have a drawing I done of a house, half of it anyway. Turned out to be the one I lived in as an adult. And its a very old house too. And there is a pic in that house if previous people that look identical to one of my sons, on the same spot 115 years later. Spooky.
Dragonfly Castle I think we actually live thousands upon thousands of lives. And each life is basically just one "day" in the long story of our existence within the "grand timescale," so to speak. All the best!
How can you know that it isn't actually good karma being born to so called " bad " parents, perhaps our soul has chosen that experience to grow? We cannot know for certain, only God can. SO this is from a human perspective that it seems bad, but we cannot know that it isn't for the souls' growth and actually good on a deeper level,
seoreh Good point. There is actually no good or bad karma. Well, the truth is that karma is based on a belief system, for in truth no one reincarnates. We are multidimensional beings having many many life experiences occuring all at the same time. Ok, that's another story.
13x60 Karma from my understand is the law of cause and effect. If you are a good person your life will be good; if bad you will have a bad life. In Buddhism a soul reincarnates; our body is made from our previous sins. What do you mean we are multidimensional beings; I would like to learn. I'm a Buddhist and I would like to learn other people's view. If we the soul is not the one that is reincarnate in this body how come we experience all life's experience.
bluesky704 Karma is simply a belief system based on our own lack of understanding of Self, nonetheless based on fear and guilt. Cause & Effect is a condition that we create and experience with on this physical plane. However, as anything else cause & effect is being created through perception. When you drop an apple, it falls to the ground. We call it gravity. If you stop believing in gravity (perception), it won't affect you anymore. Although there is no Karma, some chose to create this idea based on the idea that we reincarnate, which is nothing more than another belief. We don't reincarnate. All our other lives that we call past and future are occurring simultaneously (time is perception). Thus there is no point reincarnating to experience something that is presently already being experienced through another of your soul aspect. We may create new experiences, however, in different realms, planes or realities once we're done experiencing here. Just as there is no good and bad, for that is also perception, there is no such thing as sins. You must understand, human beings experience from their own created limited belief systems. What I mean by multidimensional is that we are not just this soul in this physical body having this one singular experience. The soul can split in many of itself and have an infinite number of simultaneous experiences throughout consciousness. In other words, you and I are not only having this physical experience in this one physical body, but we're having many many other experiences simultaneously, some physical and others non-physical in different realms, dimensions, etc.
What do you mean we don't reincarnate. Isn't the soul that reincarnate in this human body. All in the past life is already gone. I can only remember this lifetime. You say there is no sin. Why are people born differently then, isn't it cause by their sin. Some born in a poor family some rich; some are born disfigured, disable. What caused it if not sin that is from the past.
bluesky704 Through generations we are told many, many things, yet many of them are not as most of us would believe they are; for most of them are in reality based on belief systems. We incarnate, but we don't re-incarnate. There is no need for that. There is a reason and explanation, but I won't go there right now. Sin is just another of those things based on our human belief systems. Do you always believe what you are/were told? To your question why ppl are born different? It's a choice to experience different. Ask ppl to pick a color. Do you think everyone will pick the same color? Ask ppl to choose a path. Do you think everyone will choose the same path, regardless of how each path may be? Some will not choose the easiest path because they want to experience things differently, or maybe because they love a challenge. And why would some choose a difficult path? Well, and why not? Life is all about experience. We, the soul, the spirit, want to experience in every way possible so to grow and expand from. We are explorers, and for that reason many will choose challenging experiences; it's a curiosity of the soul. It wants to know what it's like to have many different types of experiences regardless of how we, in our human minds, see these experiences (spirit does not discriminate). All and everything is continually evolving, growing within self. That's what we're doing..........expanding our awareness through multitude of experiences be it in the physical and non-physical realms. All, including Consciousness, is continually becoming (nothing ever stays still), expanding within Itself; so are we, for we are one with Consciousness. Life is a choice; and there is no right and wrong choices, for all choices, however they may be, are to help expand one's own consciousness and awareness of self. Thus, you will choose to be rich, you will choose to be poor, you will choose to be a criminal, you will choose to be a saint, and so on...........all for the sake of the experience. Not because you have sinned or did good deeds.........but because you want to explore the many different aspects of your SELF.
I got excited , just looking at yogeesh makes me get goose bumps , you can see his intense focus , you don't have to ask question what he's thinking , it's all over his face.
I Can confirm he is right . I remember my past lifes and have learned the golden lotus and how to pass death . Dharma is karmic the choice is made by emotions. One cannot fool the heart.
+Michael Fox Just because you can tap in to your other lives, which btw are occurring NOW (time is perception. all is occurring simultaneously) does not mean that you reincarnate, that there is karma, and so on. You are already living several lives in different physical bodies all simultaneously. Only, the human mind which cannot understand this fact goes on thinking that he/she must reincarnate to then live another life, and continue doing the same thing over and over.
this is an interesting conundrum.but, because we live many lives, everyone will do wrong and be forgiven and then fall and rise over and over.but if we help each other and forgive each other then we will do good karma for both parties.a win win situation
I believe in reincarnation and karma and I don't agree with the way of thinking you describe. Nobody wants bad karma. People get bad karma only because they don't know or understand how karma works. Also, nobody deserves a bad life because of karma. Everybody deserves to climb up in consciousness through reincarnations; everybody deserves an understanding of how reincarnation and karma works. Those who have bad karma need the most help of all! (t.b.c.)
@annelisebauman I feel for you but this means on a higher level, you are attempting to love your enemies, thus progressing further in spiritual growth. If you had chosen "good" parents, your spiritual growth in this life would be limited. There are no victims and villains in the universe. Meditate more and realise that by choosing this set of parents, you are progressing further in your spiritual life. But please remember to love them unconditionally to further your spiritual growth.
Yes, I think that all forms of conscious beings can reincarnate into other forms of beings. The universe has always been energy, even matter is energy (e=mc2). This earth doesn't even hold a small amount of all the energy, nor matter - we haven't had life forever on this earth nor will it have life forever, but right now the earth is a place that can sustain a form of conscious beings. Otherwise "you" would exist like a part of the universe, enlightened, or some form of consciousness.
what about having bad parents that harms who you are, then later on meeting a master who totally heals you. What kind of karma is this to meet the master.
@Mrmsk2000 I think this can happen and happens alot. When a person was with good karma when born and may have chosen the good parent. But in the end it is still the child and the soul that choose its own actions, to accept its own gifts or abuse them. In that case with good parent and a child that grows to be bad it is that soul that abuses its karma spent to become with good parents. Even sometimes a child from bad parents can become a great person.
It bugs me quite a bit too. When I hear people trying to justify these horrible situations with unjustified supernatural claims I get a really uncomfortable and creepy feeling. I really don't see how thinking this way helps a society in anyway. It seems as though it would hinder progress by justifying things we all should be trying to get rid of. Why do this without any kind of justification?
@sergsfault Whatever you could have done bad in this or in another life, doesnt mean u have to suffer forever. God gives us infinite chances to "fix" anything. Lets say, if you did something bad to someone in a past life, it doesnt mean the same thing has to happen to you in this life. You can "fix" it, just by truly understanding the wrong doing (in such an extend, you will automatically try to help people in the same kind of trouble you could have caused) Love yourself, the answers will come.
A person does not incarnate into animals or plants the souls rises higher and not lower, by believing that he incarnates into animals or lower form is to deny your very self, and place yourself among the lower creatures. he deny's his spirit's superior status among all the creatures, and forgets that he is a spirit, soul and body. and you do not wish to understand the spiritual and mental level man has reached through endless tests, bitter moments, and struggles. man is created in Gods image, man involves higher like his spirit and not lower. if he starts incarnating lower there will be never ending to his evolution. If God is all LOVE the 'UNIVERSAL MIND' God has no pleasure to send him back to his lower form and to start all over again. Height of ignorance to believe such nonsense. you have a choice to advance quickly, slowly or stay stagnant.
Hello Sir, The lecture was very good. Its nice to hear a different viewpoint on this subject. Before this I watched Carl Sagan lecture on the Drake Equation, very interesting also. Thanks for info! Interested in Cosmology, new discoveries.
I respect your view, however I want to shine a different light on it to see if it helps. Karma is about cause and effect, there if we fail to learn the lessons in one life perhaps a new one will be chosen that will allow us how to deal with such things as poverty. They say being cruel dictates a cruel reincarnation, yet it makes no sense to do so so in terms of poverty those that are poor have maybe not learned how to control the desire to rely on affluence which, when thought about is worse
@whigrose18 i once read something about this, i will just repeat. Lets say someone eats spoiled food and becomes ill, you say 'you ate this food, this is why you are ill'. it doesnt mean that you do not have compassion or care for them. Similar with karma, if you are suffering you say 'you created bad karma, this is why you are suffering', but it doesnt mean you do not care for them or have compassion for them. I read this somewhere, seems relevant.
@lev3269 because I think that soul needs to grow and rise above the hard times to become a better person. If a bad karma soul chose good parents it may not be right. They need to learn what they have done and feel the pain they inflicted on others onto themselves so they first hand can rise above it and know how it feels to be the one thats hurt.
Most wanted 2 It's not a question of being pure (in reality we're all pure in our souls), but more of a choice to experience whatever fills our purpose. You may experience to be a king in one life, and in another you may choose to experience being a beggar for the sole purpose of experiencing contrast, which is what allows one to expand in one's own consciousness.
Namaste first you need to understand the concept properly of sanatana dharma...hindu is a person whose karmabhoomi [ country, nation, motherland ] and hinduism is made up western term...sanatana dharma is eternal knowledge and it can found with virtuous people, scholars etc hence it is bound to be the same...btw im a Hindu :)
@whigrose18 Why do you stop helping others? You are neither enforcer of karmic results nor remover of them. You help others to accumulate good karma for yourself which cleanses your mind, considering others as God's living images. Again, this should not be done with any selfish motives in mind, but as a service to God. If there is no karma in past or in future, there is no action. You stop action after you are beyond karma. Don't worry about others karma.
@5dddddaviddddd5 not being poor doesn't mean being rich, but having a certain wealth opens more opportunities like traveling and meeting people or being able to care for your own health better.
@whigrose18 i personally don't think they can JUSTIFY the family background, but it could in some cases. think of it this way, the poorer classes are getting larger and larger these days, and more people are born in poorer families. does that mean we have more bad karma now? on the other hand, people born in poorer families could end up better later or destined to have less stress than the richer. what do u say of karma in this case then?
A person is born without sin , All who have to share this world are on the same karmic level - Very improtant - The karma is the planet. The birth is usualy random.
RUclips Jesus experience regardless of race, religion, believer or non believer it all comes down to Jesus. He alone holds the key to Heaven we must walk in His Ways for he is the Truth and the Life. He healed all kinds of sickness, drove away demonic spirits, and raised the dead back to life. You must believe in Him or you will be lost in this world. So many near death experience out there that encountered Jesus and truly change their life around. I recommend watching Richard Sigmund 'My Time in Heaven' and Rick Joyner 'The Final Quest'
About the existence of conscience: I personally think that all forms of theoretical knowledge is bound to the fleshly body (neuro, etc...) and no other. For even in Buddhism it is "thought that :impermanence, suffering, but most importantly anathma (No pertient spirit)" is a fact that a human being has to realize in order to see the truth.
yeah great blame kids past "Lifes" for being melested or beaten blame it on the past i sorry but thats just sick and wrong what about people who are good in this life even though there parents would that show the soul is good i sorry i think this is wrong
Speculative, philosophical blah blah blah. Not a lick of evidence for a single thing he said. (You may like the way he 'says' it, but he is saying 'nothing'.) The teaching of 'karma' is a mind-trap, like all religion. Born into 'sin' or born into 'debt' -- or born free. You decide.

I think this can happen and happens alot.
A person does not incarnate into animals or plants
the souls rises higher and not lower, by believing that he incarnates into animals or lower form is to deny your very self, and place yourself among the lower creatures.
he deny's his spirit's superior status among all the creatures, and forgets that he is a spirit, soul and body.
and you do not wish to understand the spiritual and mental level man has reached through endless tests, bitter moments, and struggles.
man is created in Gods image, man involves higher like his spirit and not lower. if he starts incarnating lower there will be never ending to his evolution.
If God is all LOVE the 'UNIVERSAL MIND' God has no pleasure to send him back to his lower form and to start all over again.
Height of ignorance to believe such nonsense.
you have a choice to advance quickly, slowly or stay stagnant.
Hello Sir,
The lecture was very good.
Can we choose siblings too ? I hope
What if someone was adopted? does this mean the person you were born to that you may have chose didnt want you??
+Danielle Siena T all significant relationships are pre-selected as part of the soul's journey.
¡sí Mon essa!
@lev3269 because I think that soul needs to grow and rise above the hard times to become a better person. If a bad karma soul chose good parents it may not be right. They need to learn what they have done and feel the pain they inflicted on others onto themselves so they first hand can rise above it and know how it feels to be the one thats hurt.
looks or body has nothing to do with the soul.
Can we choose the same mother to be born from in the next life...as in this life ? :(
Andjana Wilson You may as long as she agrees with it.
Most wanted 2 It's not a question of being pure (in reality we're all pure in our souls), but more of a choice to experience whatever fills our purpose. You may experience to be a king in one life, and in another you may choose to experience being a beggar for the sole purpose of experiencing contrast, which is what allows one to expand in one's own consciousness.
how did this all happen? i dont mean to bring up the memory if it was bad, but if possible, i would also like to know. thanks man
Namaste
first you need to understand the concept properly of sanatana dharma...hindu is a person whose karmabhoomi [ country, nation, motherland ] and hinduism is made up western term...sanatana dharma is eternal knowledge and it can found with virtuous people, scholars etc hence it is bound to be the same...btw im a Hindu :)
@whigrose18
Why do you stop helping others? You are neither enforcer of karmic results nor remover of them. You help others to accumulate good karma for yourself which cleanses your mind, considering others as God's living images. Again, this should not be done with any selfish motives in mind, but as a service to God. If there is no karma in past or in future, there is no action. You stop action after you are beyond karma. Don't worry about others karma.
Other planets/worlds with sentient beings?
Wow, that's very interesting.
one does not exclude the other.
About the existence of conscience:
I personally think that all forms of theoretical knowledge is bound to the fleshly body (neuro, etc...) and no other.
For even in Buddhism it is "thought that :impermanence, suffering, but most importantly anathma (No pertient spirit)" is a fact that a human being has to realize
in order to see the truth.
2 words: Souless sociopaths.
@yogeeshashram Nice game god is playing. :D Just play along! :D

Weeeeeee hakaaa #RUclipsJARREDERRATICARCHIVES
Speculative, philosophical blah blah blah. Not a lick of evidence for a single thing he said. (You may like the way he 'says' it, but he is saying 'nothing'.) The teaching of 'karma' is a mind-trap, like all religion. Born into 'sin' or born into 'debt' -- or born free. You decide.
Frank Norris Do you believe that you are a soul?
+bluesky704 I believe I am nothing, something and everything at the same time...
