Bill is a very defined person in his mannerisms and the way he carries himself, so I feel like after spending some years with him.. you’d be able to do it too😂
Some of those USC personalities too. Has to be one of the greater coaches for keeping together some of what he did and constantly being in content too. Much of his tenure like Tomlin.
HARD disagree on arguably the best of all time. They were the best in the league for a couple years though. But over his career Bill has averaged a better defense
DEPENDS on the player tbh but for most it's a great idea but for some it can make them stiff and injury prone and ol wearing them is JUST good most teams do it ALL of the injuries they cause are already common in the position so they ONLY get the benefits when they are added
I like how you didn’t fault him for that. When I was in college playing football I went through something very similar to this from my first school to my second school which was a JC (A LOT of freedom to be you), 2nd school NAIA (very system heavy not as many opportunities as a DL to make plays).
I always had the thought that playing for the patriots may be a bittersweet experience. You’re part of a successful franchise because you’re winning all the time but it doesn’t seem like that much fun compared to other teams.
Will someone with production skills PLEASE get Michael and his brother Martellus a podcast?? Those are two of the most naturally hilarious dudes alive.
wtf are y’all talking about? 😆 Lemme ask you, what elite players did Bill have that was elite somewhere else? Besides Chandler Jones, it sounds like Bill played a part in how those guys played, not the other way around
Says he was linebacker coach in 19, d-line starting in 2020. I'm seeing Bret Bielema as the 19 d-line coach. Based on what I'm reading he doesn't know much about d-line coaching.
@@moegreene7940makes sense as to why there are so many stories of Bill taking over position group rooms & teaching each player how to play their positions. But I guess that’s bc Bill always develops his staff so I’m sure trial & error comes with it.
NE wasn’t for everybody but he’s definitely right about D-line not being the main focus. Bill always built his defense back to front, which is why he always had 1 lockdown corner
Something that still bothers me is: shouldn't Michael Bennett have a ring with new england? The last super bowl they won was in 2019 and if I remember correctly Bennett made the roster requirements, right?
U really have two kinda coaches that are good u have the bellichek coaches who run a tight ship and then the Pete’s who are considered players coaches and they usually produce anything in between they’re probably not good lol
Bill is so lucky he had Brady. I was a Manning fan through the Pats dynasty. He's ndber been a winning coach without Brady but will go down as one of the best head coaches
He did win without Brady, I think I was 08. You're focusing on his overall record but his defensive scheming is among the best if not the best in the NFL. So much so he's got two rings as a coordinator in his game plan from one of those super bowls is in the Hall of Fame. Regardless most of his bad decisions post Brady were general manager decisions they weren't coaching decisions. He had a top 5 defense and a developing quarterback. We know Jarod Mayo was going to get that job no matter what now so he was never going to get time to prove himself. It's much easier for Tom Brady to switch teams and win the super bowl then it is for for Bill Belichick to find a quarterback who can play with so little. The notion that Belichick is a bad coach is because he hasn't gone without Brady is ridiculous. Andy Reid hasn't won without Patrick Mahomes so I guess he's not a good coach either.
I’ll reverse that. Brady is lucky he had Bill. No QB in history had better structure, competent coaching and mgmt. Run game, defense & special teams were almost always top 10. Ask Rodgers, Peyton, Brees, Rivers or any great QB what their careers would look like if they had the same thing. Casuals always say it was Brady but people who really know football knows who really orchestrated the whole thing. Lastly, no one talks about the Pats going 11-5 without Brady with Cassell or 3-1 with 2 backup QBs when Brady was suspended. The structure made that possible. The other QBs I named couldn’t say the same in their absence, regardless of which coach they had.
Thats why Bellicheck out the league now that old aZz dictator coaching dont work with this generation and thats why that era was the last of the Mohegan’s !!!!
@@darinstephens7129You think Bill Belicheck, a super bowl winning coach and one of the only people who will openly call out Tom Brady and holds his teams to the highest standard, is just hiring idiots on his coaching staff?

no MB just doesn’t fit the patriot militaristic style and that’s ok, I was even shocked when we got him bc I just knew his personality beforehand. Revis said the same thing and Revis balled out for us. it’s just not for everyone
Patriots players must practice their bellicheck impression in the locker room cuz they are all spot on 😂
For real bro 😂

Pete Carol creating arguably the best defense ever and having that kind of free locker room coexist is crazy to me.

They were the best in the league for a couple years though. But over his career Bill has averaged a better defense
It could've just been big part of luck of drafting the correct guys. Cuz he wasn't able to replicate it after players got old
Didn’t last long that’s the difference 😂bill had the true blueprint
Shout out to the LOB but they aren’t even the best defense from the 2000s on let alone ever.
Going from Pete to bill is a huge culture shift lol
Having your players wear knee braces during practice is smart. Also Bellichick always had his offensive lineman wear knee braces during the game.
DEPENDS on the player tbh but for most it's a great idea but for some it can make them stiff and injury prone and ol wearing them is JUST good most teams do it ALL of the injuries they cause are already common in the position so they ONLY get the benefits when they are added

Shocking they don’t have one
They probably don't want to be in front of the camera that much
When he did the Wakanda forever I knew it was OVER 🤣✊🏽🙏🏾
That shit was so funny
Brett Bielema was the D Line Coach he had a problem with
He just brought up the no1 problem with the pats. The dline development
Normally it's not. This year has been but Barmore being out has hurt them.
Hopefully they restock the trenches for next year.
They never had that problem until this year. Mayo doesn’t know how to coach.
Forgot he even played for them
Got fined, stayed home and still got his check for the week
Pete had wire defensive talent and let them be elite defensive talent. Bill always had solid defensive talent but made them elite
No bill had some elite talent that was just elite
@@luddman77exactly. Belichick always trying to downplay and discredit players.

He's saying DeMarcus Covington ( 2019 D line coach) doesn't know anything about the position 😅

I believe he joined the year after they won the superbowl cause the pats won in the 2018/2019 year and he joined 2019/2020
Amazes me how marty b (who was even whackier) fit in like a glove yet Michael b (who prob had more talent) didn't pan out
Marty was fun loving this guy takes thing WAY to personal. And Marty was awesome with Gronk.

Thanks Mike PHILLY STYLE !!!!
It's too bad he didn't work out because he's a great player.
Who was his position coach??
This guy was annoying as hell as a Pat. Super selfish player. His brother on the other hand was GREAT next to Gronk.
Guys who love rules don’t pack the gear to compete. They always want to twist them to their favor.
Belichick has 6 rings you goof
MB one of my favorite players the small pads the goofy dances and a key part of our insane defense
him the the linebackers never got proper credit because ESPN was suckin on the legion of boom’s nutz every week
Bill..did as he pleased as long as Tom Brady was on the roster. His mistakes were hidden by a Hall of Fame qb
This is the definition of “walk in yo trap and take over yo trap” 😂😂😂😂 I don’t know who watches NFL here, but I’m referring to Kirk Cousins.
The money from all the former and current black athletes could buy us our own state.. or more!

The Bennet brothers have both been head cases not surprising to hear how unprofessional they are

If they had a coach more like bill they wouldn't of thrown it on the 1 with Marshawn lynch at tailback
