My gf and i are huge Doors fans. She was going to skip the ray and robbie show a few years ago in Boston, i told her go and talked her into it. A little over a year later and Ray passed away. Glad she listened to me, she has a memory with our daughter she will share for a lifetime. Sometimes we think we can always jus catch artitsts on the next tour, but that tour may never come.
TheBarnabascolins in 1994 Nirvana was playing down the street from my house. I called my best friend he night of the show, neither of us had tix but I thought we would just buy off scalpers. He wouldn't come out. He wanted to watch Star Trek TNG. He said that he would catch them at Lolapoloza that summer. I went, and it was a great show. Kurt didn't make it to the summer of 94. Always catch a band you wanna see because the future is uncertain and something something. . .
WOW brings back memories what a FANTASTIC experience to see them. I'm going to have a couple of margaritas tonight and think about Jim and Ray in heaven...
Damn. what a loss. still played great. great guy, interesting guy. we all lost 1 of the grandfathers of modern rock. listen to that. R.I.P BROTHA. GONNA MISS YA.
I think Dave Brock did a great job! I felt Jim there. I actually saw the Doors in 1968 at the Anaheim convention center . The grou called THE MERRY GO ROUND and the JEFFERSON AIRPLANE opened up for them BEST concert!
Check out Dave Brock and wild child. I have been seen them since I was 11 years old and I'm now 36 . I always have been amazed how close he is to being Jim . Even met him backstage at the Roxy. And u could have sworn I was meeting Jim.
IThey did an awesome job when they played Light My Fire! Loved this concert, except for how packed in we were and having to stand the whole freakin time!
Hey Dave while searching for a good version of "When the music's over" for my grand daughter whose channel do I stumble across....who is this? Well let's just say 46 years ago we were riding in a 60's Mustang with a leaky radiator, the Beatles on the stereo, heading to Florida for some fun in the sun....which we got little of! LOL
I love this!! Not Jim Morrison ~ but ~ Dave Brock is the closest I have seen and heard so far!! Check out his photos in "Yahoo Images" . . . Voice and looks ~ Awesome!! (*_*)
I saw the original Doors back in '68 and Dave Brock sounds amazingly close to Jim...even the subtle vocal inflections are there...
I just found this vid after all the years and I am amazed how close to Jim he sounded!
You are a lucky person how great it must be to make that comparison

The future is uncertain, the end is always near.
I still can't believe how Dave Brock's voice sounds similar to Jim's one, astonishing
He's actually been singing Jim's songs longer than Jim did, and he and his band Wild Child are excellent!
Dave Brock -- his voice is hauntingly like Jim Morrison's... I love this!!
WOW brings back memories what a FANTASTIC experience to see them. I'm going to have a couple of margaritas tonight and think about Jim and Ray in heaven...
dave brock blow me away... saw him a few times in San Diego. amazing.
How cool was this concert! Thanks for posting it!!
This reminds of the great time in history when musicians lyrically put everything in it.unlike today.thank God for the Doors...

He brings the Morrison-esque in this performance too. Wild
RIP Ray. So happy to have seen him and Robby play a few years ago. The music world will never be the same.

Holy shit! Set the night on fire!!!
Dava Brock is really good... very very close to Jim... I like this setup, like to see them live
look at my latest videos on here. Friend of mine.
Awesome
Sborro pesantemente , grazie di tutto Ray❤
YEA. 2 of the greats. can't believe it.
Well done on putting the correct title/label on this.
Outside of myself and Val Kilmer Dave Brock does Jim Morrison justice when he sings and performs these songs.
Yourself, you have no video or audio to back the claim that you have done Jim

It's not Jim but it's as close as you're going to get and Ray and Robbie still got it

Not the Dave Brock I had in mind...but a great clip to watch all the same....
wo ... :)
Looks like Robbie has some influence from Eddie Van Halen since the Doors days. He has said Eruption is his favorite guitar solo of another artist.
Ah, doesn't look much like "Dave Brock" from Hawkwind. ;) That would've been cool. This guy has a cool voice though.
It's Jim minus the unpredictable Behavior

Aw wish the recording went to the end
