I think I saw a video years back about why you should rush, and there were valid points like more loot… but I wouldn’t do it. I rushed from th 9 to 11. Now I’m almost a fully maxed th14 not rushed, working on my walls right now that are 5M a piece.. Took me over a year and a half to catch up what I did rush. 😂 it really is not worth it unless you can pour a ton of money on gems and personalized store bundles.

@@averageballfan3168 in clash of clans you only really need to upgrade your storages in order to hold the amount of gold needed to upgrade to the next town hall, as long as you get the new buildings required to upgrade. Rushing is when people upgrade their town hall without fully upgrading every building to the max or an acceptable level for their town hall. This means that their buildings are severely underpowered for their town hall level.

Hero levels are definitely still big, and a large part of tactical rushes, even if they are no longer the number 1 priority due to potion use during war leagues. The whole point of a tactical rush is faster access to larger pools of resources due to higher offensive combat power. If you get say 5 free hero potions a month (which is generous for f2p), that doesn't even get you through war league the next month, let alone star bonus attacks, which are massive now that they give ore.
I have a th9 with 2 cannons 1 archer tower, and air defense and a mortar. And 75 walls. You used to be able to have cool bases like that until supercell forced everyone to build every single thing before being able to upgrade a townhall. Now the only way to be different is to have lvl1 defenses..
