Thanks so much. Love that you give comparison of these to Salomon Quest 4 GTX which is also on my shopping cart . Love all your reviews. Always very helpful and informative. Warmest thanks 🙏
The nucleo high 2 boots are indeed narrow in there sizing. However. I have found their toe to heel is true to size. An 8 is an 8 , a 9 is a 9 etc . I normally wear an 8. With the Nucleo I wear an 8 wide. The traction is excellent. They are lite weight and that is great for a long hike, less foot and knee fatigue. The high tongue gusset offers better water protection. The lacing design in some reviews state a wide range of opinions. However, I like this unique design the lace while loose stays in the eyelet. Over all I love this boot.
Thanks for the review and I can confirm all what you have said is true - this shoe worked great for me as I have a narrow foot and also with planter fasciitis - it worked great without using a special insoles for my high arch. I loved the fit especially the toe support . Using it for 10’day hike with light backpack average 7-10 miles walk every day - don’t buy at a full price though 😊 the shoe ties / cords are better than other shoes they stayed in place. At REI they match me with this shoe instantly by looking at my feet structure said that’s NOT a Merrill foot 😂
Bought a used pair on EBay for $30. I use hiking boots for working in the lawn care business, most waterproof boots don’t stay dry in wet grass but for $30 I have little complaints, with many pairs of work boots I can always find a pair of dry boots.
Don't by them, they are for walking around the garden path. I bought a pair for light hiking (i have some La Sportiva's for more serious stuff) and they have basically crumbled and fallen apart in a little over two years and they've barley been worn. Just terrible and not to be trusted. These boots are for going to the store in.
This guy is the best product reviewer!

I already have these shoes for hiking in high rocky terrain. Are they good for plantar fasciitis ?
Hi. Can you please review the La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II mid GTX?

@@NigelGonzalez-u2j looks like 7” to me.
Are these insulated at all? Would they be good for use in snow?
Thanks🤘🏼
super durable pair! beat the crap out of these an there still great
Nice calves bro
Sorry, but, squirting a new boot with a spray gun is one of the least helpful things to demonstrate waterproofing.
