@@cheri7054 they are both Condescending At times. There's some Sarcasm in their communicating also but they have fun with it at times. My husband is Sarcastic at times When we're having a fight and when he is sarcastic it really pisses me off. They are a lot like my husband and I but we are a little milder though, I could see us getting like them but I would not let it. After watching them I should try to be a little easier on my husband sometimes about his Sarcasm he thinks it is funny. It taks a lot of work to improve communicating in marriage some call it Bickering. This is how they show they love to oneanother. They have been together for a long time so they know how hard it is. In the video they don't get mad or offended about what the other says.
Watching Mandy with that onion was spectacular! I would listen to Kathryn every chance I had. She blends brilliance and kindness effortlessly! I cannot imagine finding my footing with the acting/singing genius of Mandy, but Kathryn's light shines oh so bright! So grateful to Gideon for every second of these videos
I really hope you understand the good you are doing for people with this channel. Whether it’s funny, serious, political, educational… It all makes a difference for me absolutely and I would guess for many many others!
It had been TOO long! Good to get a new video. Thanks! Love the tick proof socks and elastic pant hems - country living. These videos make me wonder if Mandy and Kathryn do more reflection as a result of Gideon’s questions than they would have without them.
I’m jealous of his wife…I fell in love 🥰 with Mandy when I bought the “cassette tape” of Evita and heard his talented voice and thought he was the most handsomest man 👨 alive…what a live vibe he emits and emotes!
You two are so delightful. My husband was VERY STRONG-WILLED to the point where when he was feeling terrible he thought that he could "tough it out". He was wrong. He died of prostate cancer 2 1/2 years ago. I miss him (THE BBQ JEW) so much. You two remind me of our interactions. 😊
They see each other and hear is other and use the information to continue to navigate their relationship in a meaningful way - so lovely, so endearing. They are so lucky together...
I hope you and your family are well. This past week I vacationed in Woodstock NY, and had the privilege attending the Woodstock Jewish Center for services this past Shabbat. My brother passed away on May 31 and was looking for a place to say Kaddish. As it turns out Rabbi Jonathan Kligler fondly referred to as Rabbi Jonathan is retiring after 34 years of service to the Community. As being from Baltimore I also had the opportunity to watch your beautiful performance at Beth Tfiloh honoring Rabbi Wahlberg. I told this to Rabbi Jonathan and showed him your final song to Rabbi Wahlberg and he said we had some local musicians several weeks ago. I was thinking it would be a nice surprise if you could Zoom in next Shabbat to honor him with a song. He is a big fan of yours. Thank you. Steve Davidoff.
I love you guys. Your honesty and humor. FYI, I got rid of my Microwave for a good 10 years because of concerns for health. But I have since returned and my brain hasn’t been fried at this point.
I remember the answer to a difficult female caller Dr. Toni Grant had on her AM radio show in the 1980s. The hyper-critical wife could not be pleased by anything her heart surgeon husband did. Every tiny thing he did down to the way he hung a towel in the bathroom irritated her. Finally, after a very long call, Dr. Toni Grant used the broken record technique with the lady and finally halted her constant stream of nitpicking with, “Do you want to be right, or do you want to be loved?” She said it over and over until it stopped the woman in her tracks and began to sink in. Nothing else had worked. Dr Grant told her he would leave her because a man needs to feel he can please his wife. She gave him no room for that. It’s a useful phrase for anyone, along with, “is this the hill I want to die on?” 😂😂😂 Plus, I read of a study that concluded there are 256 ways to wash dishes. All of them right!😅
I only use the microwave for reheating and once in a blue moon 🌚 for defrosting. We’re all gonna die anyway at some point. May as well enjoy what we can while we’re still here. What ya 👩🍳 cookin there Mandy, ya freakin bully😂
If I didn’t know who these people were, I’d think they were people in my neighborhood! So down to Earth, intelligent, and fun! Thank you for these videos!
Thank you for sharing an amazing couple with the world! Ps paid to see your dad when he came to Canada would happily buy a ticket to see your mom… she doesn’t have to sing!
You are such s wonderful couple and family. It would be interesting to see how you would react if you left your life experience together at the door and watched these videos as we the viewers do. Or in theatre speak, watch your “play” unfolding as a member of the audience. I think that you would see, like we do, two magnificent intelligent, passionate and compassionate individuals who value love, family, democracy, faith, culture and well-being of all sentient beings on what we call Earth or Gaia, amongst other things. There so many of us who can relate to these glimpse of moments in your relationships with each other and Gideon. We love when you encourage people to vote with promos such as calls to Elizabeth Warren. Or play match-making with friends… looking forward to an update. As well as any future road trip adventures. All this while Becky id in the background observing you too and wondering when her next meal, treat or walk is. Kudos to Gideon in his devotion and persistence to keeping this channel going and your patience and generosity to letting us be flys on the wall.
Mandy and my husband, George are from the same gene pool!😂. I tell my husband, “I do what I wanna do now.” And, “I’m gonna eat what I want to eat, not what is necessarily good for me.” He says, “when have you ever listened to me?” Mr. Bossypants and I have traded places…we take good care of each other, try to meet each other’s needs, and best of all, our hearing is going. Sometimes, I tell him he never said blah, blah, blah. He told me, but I just like mess’n with him. Eventually, I tell him the truth, maybe😉
Perhaps Kathryn could try a set of Airpods, or two if the conversations last hours. Nowadays I rarely hold a phone, I like having my hands free to type, write, handle documents, etc.
Montoya! My mother thought the same god damned thing. Now many years later I'm an electrical engineer and I can tell you the photons used by the microwave are the same photons that come out of your flash light - Just much lower energy.
Your wife is right. Microwave kills you. I am a food stylist and never had one. My kids think we are poor because we don’t have one. I actually cook on fire.
She is wrong. Don’t listen to her. I listened to women like that and it ruined my life and made me afraid to have a microwave. I would subscribe to your channel but listening to her makes me feel so angry I spiral into deep despair. I can’t believe how loyal and long suffering and forgiving this man is.
I got a microwave tester to make sure it wasn't leaking. But even when it's not, I like to quickly back far away and never stand directly in front of it. My son bought a BIG one for our TINY kitchen, kinda scary. I don't use it a lot, but it's nice when I need it. My son is positive they are harmless. I've read enough to know they are NOT totally harmless, especially if defective or leaking or if you put something in it that the nuker doesn't like and it chokes and pukes and makes a mess. Fortunately never happened to me, but did happen to one of my niece's hubbies and more than once. Total melt down inside. Oh, yeah, their daughter, my sweet Shaina, semi-exploded one by accidentally putting metal in there. So, yeah, there are dangers. But not if the machine is working right and people do what they should do. I also have concerns about cell phones, which is why I use my landline (old fashioned and with a cord to it, whoa) much more than I do my cell. My cell is mainly for when away from home emergency thing. Texting is safer. But I hate texting. I type very fast with all 10 and require that kind of keyboard. lol You two are adorable. I'm so glad you can discuss and learn and even if one or both can't change for one reason or another, you're more than willing to accept and go on loving and living with them. Take care. Be well. Live long and healthy, please.
I use a microwave every day, multiple times a day, probably even more than my sink, haha. It's definitely my most important tool in the kitchen. But I'm also a hypochondriac and now after seeing this video I started worrying about it, especially because my microwave makes funny sounds (well, scary sounds more accurately as they don't exactly make me laugh) and sometimes it also turns on for a moment after I open the door if I don't do it just so. What kind of microwave tester did you get, if you don't mind? I might have to look into it. thanks
@@brad3517 I can't remember which one. It was from amazon (what isn't nowadays. lol) But dumb me got one that couldn't have the battery replaced. And it died. Therefore no longer can use it, and need a new and better one. It was to test for wave leakage. Microwaves should not be making noises, unless it's a turn table problem? Then perhaps. And they should not switch on until you turn them on. Never heard of that before. Perhaps the latch on your door is crooked or door is crooked? If I were you I'd buy a new microwave. Or take it in for testing?
“Did you accomplish anything today?” wife: “Yes, I got your father to behave a little bit more to my liking.” How can ya not love these two?!!
Sounds like that's kinda condescending.
Kathryn: "yes, I found words that helped my husband understand my thoughts better than before."

Mandy’s knife skills were scaring me. Not the best way to peel or chop an onion.
He is using Capo Ferro. But I think the onion could find that Thibault cancels out Capo Ferro.
The beautiful interactions, husband wife and son. Heartwarming.
Lordy, how I adore this family.
Your parents have the best marriage!! Honesty and growing!!!
These two are adorable and wouldn't look out of place in The Shire in Lord of the Rings!
We all need a wife like Mandy's. Sweetest, most darling lady ever.
But I need to know what he's cooking - I can hear the sizzle and now must know!!! :D
Gonna show this to my hubby, who has been my hubby since 1993. We've all got things to learn, always
never enough of these videos! Love them............

Well at least you are not my one neighbor who swore that was how the government monitored you! He was one card short of a deck!
In my house, it all boils down to this: Do I want to be right, or do I want to be married?
Pick and choose your fights

Lotions and many make up's and sunscreen cause cancer. We aren't save anywhere unless you buy expensive products with little chemicals.
Gotta have a microwave. It's a good Faraday Cage for your electronics if we ever are attacked.
Love you guys! 🦌💌❤️👍🙏
Is Kathryn on her way to school? What in God's name is Mandy doing to that poor onion! Love you all.
Making magic, it looks like.
we all experience those days!!

I find it odd you don't listen to wife or other child. You appear to be in love. How can one stay in a relationship without listening. Please explain.
