Thanks for the comment! We’ll see if we can remedy that in a future video (we plan on releasing updated videos each year to ensure that campers have the most up-to-date information).
It's a great park! How'd you guys manage to get permission to film over the campgrounds? The rangers are telling me we can only fly out drone over the areas where people aren't located. Was there someone specific you had to get permission with in order to fly over the campgrounds? Thanks in advance.
We’ve been working with the State of Utah to purchase/obtain special use permits to allow us to film the campgrounds with our drones in the state parks. We also try to film whenever we can in the offseason (to avoid crowds).
@@RoadtrippinwithTakacs, Your best bet is probably to go through the state park manager for each location you visit. That's where we first had some success.
super helpful video! thank you!
Another one to add to my list! Thanks!
We were blown away by the natural beauty of this place--as the avid camper that you are, we're confident you'll enjoy the experience.
Kodachrome seems like an absolute dream. Love the detail in this video.
Thank you -- it's definitely worth a trip!
Really like your vids. Added this to our tour
Thanks! We hope the videos are helpful for you. Happy camping!
There's free camping in that area as well if you go straight instead of making that left turn to get to the park from the main road.
Got an idea for another campground for us to cover? Let us know in the comments below!
Looks like a great place! I've heard it can get windy at times in the afternoon. Something to keep in mind.
Yeah, the wind can indeed pick up at times so definitely worth coming prepared.
Very nice review of the campground , but you missed site #27 in the basin campground with full hookup

@@seemycampsite Thanks! Who do you think I should contact to get permission?
