In season 4 part 1 They used the first half (the part without lyrics) and as soon as the ost album was out I set out to find this track, I was surprised they kept the whole banger from us, then season 4 part 2 came and they also didn't use the second half, My disappointment was inmeasurable, they used it at the end of the new special and i was finally happy
SAME. I heard the first half and was like deamn where's the rest and when I heard the full song I spent an hour looking for the time it played in the anime.

They used it on the first episode of Part 2 when Marley assaults Paradis. Also played small bits when the Alliance had to kill the Yeagerists to get the port back

Season 4 is mainly Kohta and he did such a great job composing ❤️ Kohta and Hiroyuki collaborate frequently and I highly recommend the OST from the anime 86.
I reacted to one but copyright is stopping me from the rest. I do plan to watch the show soon though. I'll just have to do it on my own time

@@SeanPalcic I'm already a terminal weeb and finished the manga after watching seasons 1-3. I wasn't huge on where the story went from there, but i guess it just wasn't what i expected 🫠
As for reacting to shows, i watch like 20 shows per season as it is but dodging copyright mess is a headache i already have to deal with on the music side. If i did any degree of show reactions it'd be in the form of animation reviews/breakdowns since that's my other passion.

One thing that I learned and give a lot of people who are fans as consolation is Isayama's editor is known for pressuring popular mangakas he edited for into different endings that end up being unpopular, but even if that wasnt the case I, and other fans dont have the right to tell an artist how to tell their art. I havent watched a whole lot of your channel, but if you havent already I'd suggest reacting to the OST appleseed. Not many people or reactors do, since there are so many other "better" OSTs but it's one of my favorites

I had no faith in kohta yamamoto, but with this piece of music and others used in the special chapter I have shut my mouth, not counting those we already heard in part 2 of the final season, not for nothing is Sawano's right hand so I take my hat off to this man too

This is a great song no doubt, but I think it might have been a poor choice for the Scene in the final where the alliance is attacking Eren. It’s way too upbeat and groovy for a scene where they are literally going to fight their former comrade and friend.
It's because you're thinking with the wrong perspective, this song plays exactly because the moment was upbeat and hopeful, it represented the hope that little girl saw when she noticed the alliance coming to stop Eren, definitely not a poor choice or not thoughtful one.
