    Did the guy you had cutting ahead of you separate the species for you ?Also do you cut a trail in and put the skids behind you than when you get to the end of the trail just set over and work from the back out ? Ask because I am curious of how this is going to work as I am looking at doing it this way at some point .

      No they didn't really separate the species I just do it because I know its easier. It depends I always lay the wood behind, if I know the piece well an haven't been lazy and walked it good I try to loop my trails so I'm always cutting and not wearing the undercarriage, if I'm not sure or can't loop I'll Ghost in and cut back out.
