So true! Concept of CTC also is so well explained, sir. Another point is, if you work on ships then you also save major money of house rent, electricity bills and food bills for yourselves. You don’t have to travel to an office in your 15kmpl mileage car everyday in traffic, you can simply walk into your office from your room. These points are small but over a period of time, they will result in good sums of money of saved and invested in the right manner, sir.

You are absolutely correct I started as 5e in 2005 n become CE in 2015....after 7 contract as CE... Took 3 yr break....n lead a comfortable life......become Supt n Technical Manager.......later on..and I am average chief engr. Best chief engr I have seen in my career who takes 7-8 yrs.
