      Beautiful! Make sure you get it connected to a nice sounding reverb as well. I use a software reverb called Valhalla Shimmer ( valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-shimmer/ ) in most of my videos. If you want to use a hardware reverb the Ventris Dual Reverb is a good choice. A less pricey option would be the Zoom MS-70CDR. Have fun Andy!

    I know the reverb you use is software but when you play this, are you playing into an audio interface and monitoring live what the track sounds like with the reverb or do you just record it dry and then apply the reverb?

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  4 года назад +7

      The audio goes in dry so to speak and the reverb is applied to that signal live inside FL Studio. Sometimes I record the dry signal and apply reverb afterwards. You can do it both ways.

      Yes I made a pad that I'm playing the M32 over. The M32 is only generating the melody. I'm using the interal sequencer of the Mother 32, turning the knobs to alter the sound and I also change the software effects I applied to the sound with my mouse just out of frame.

      Hey! To make pads I create short melodic loops often using Zebra 2, The Legend or Omnisphere Vst. Just a couple of chords and a bass note. I then import that into Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch and it turns into a pad that I can jam over with my M32.

      RemixSample Id love to know what all of what you just said entails. Where do the wires out of the Moog go, and what are those things doing?

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад

      @@RyanPerrella This song consists of two elements. The ambient sounding background pad and the plucking arpeggio melody from Mother 32. The wire you see is a midi cable used to send note data from the computer but in this video I'm using the internal note sequencer of the M32 to play all the notes. On the back of the M32 there is an output for the audio signal that is going into my usb audio interface then into my DAW program where I apply reverb and delay effects to the sound of the M32.

    Is all this sound just on mother-32???

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  4 года назад +1

      The background pad was made with Paul's Extreme Soundstretch. The arpeggio melody you here throughout the track is the M32.

      @@RemixSample and some nice reverb to help it out. My issue with M32 is it's integration into DAW based work... it seems to have none (as many modulars do)
