Hello, I have one, exactly the same bike, and I can say that it's amazing. I recommend to prove one. It will change all of your concepts riding bikes. Believe me.
The winglets are cheezy, just my opinion. I just picked up my 2020 today in the new Plus model color now available for the SE. Rode 125km today to just enjoy my new bike. I will get a Tidy Tail and a tail bag but thats it for now bike will remain stock a while before I start throwing more cash at it, lol. You should tell us what you spent or what the true cost would be to the average owner who may not be getting any kickbacks for all the work done, It would be quite a bit. Gotta say I love the bike , it is seriously comfortable for me but I already know one of the first mods for me will be an aftermarket seat I believe, the stock is good but I think I will be getting a Sargent . Love your enthusiasm, keep up the good work!
I built a 1580cc Busa with a few parts from SAE. Bought a 2019 H2SXSE+ to develop an invention which is piggybacked onto an Extreme Creations Air to water intercooler. Thermoelectric Boost Cooling & Charging System. I generate additional power from the exhaust system heat & use it to refrigerate the intercooler coolant. All on my channel, steaming through the hills with ambient temp & boost temp on the dash, Enjoy the ride. Your build is not really a "build". My next "build" planned is 1635cc Gen3 Busa with a Billet CNC Head. The Ninja's handling is excellent & well set up for touring.
As for the heated grips , maybe on the H2sx it isn’t perfect, but on any bikes, it’s not the problem, when temperatures gets cold it’s not really your hands that comes colds, it’s your fingers and wiles you hold the handlebars it’s kinda inside your hands, when the reality is that the winds hit on the top of your fingers, sure it’s better than nothing, but I bought some heated gloves that works either with rechargeable battery or a plug in things, but having wires hanging everywhere around the bike isn’t exactly perfect and the battery last up to 6/8 hours and takes less than 1 hour to re-charged, and between heated grips and heated gloves it’s really day and night difference
it is all day comfy... ive only been on single day trips so far 8-10 hours, and its totally fine, im 6 foot so you might be slightly more cramped then i am but i can say enough about the value of the trade off... id be 10% less comfy for 1000% more power, handling, and fun factor!
@joe joe Cost me £100 to change from ZZR14 to H2SX. ZZR14 is an awesome bike. Nevertheless, I like the modern electronics, cruise, quickshifter etc on my H2SXSE+. A personal choice of course, I'm not saying one bike is better than the other :)
@joe joe Bro, it's the same here. My mate took one for a test ride when they first came out. Parked up in a nice town & some bastard nicked it..... Bike theft is a big problem here in the UK my brother... :(
That is my absolute dream bike. I am a big fan of center stands so I would keep it on the bike. I would love to be able to get one of those as it would replace my concours 14 but I would miss my electric windshield I feel. Other than that the sheer power and design of this bike are near flawless.
AGREED!! i am keeping the center stand- i use it all the time and love it... i have a '12 ZX14, similar to your concorse... this thing is head and shoulders better! faster (duh) confy for what it is, you can still bring your things, the windscreen isnt as "wall-like" but it does the job, and it handles like a superbike!! treat yourself! also... ill be selling mine at the end of the season so hit me up!!
lets just turbo our connies. i think 240 hp on this thing is iffy on long lasting. i was looking into zh2 and from what i see i think kawasaki put cast pistons in these things.(h2sx and zh2)
Just keep the Connie, and have both machines begging for a spin. I have had my 08 "GTR1400" since '08. I don't think I could ever give up the comfort for the really long hauls. I just did 2500 miles on the V-Strom 650. I missed my reliable, comfortable, rocket ship. My B-King has almost 100 ft lbs torque to the ground and I really don't feel I miss much on the ole, Concours 14.
I would keep the centerstand unless you are doing a lot of track days. Not many bikes have them these days. My previous ZX6E was one of the last centerstand sport bike. You can further lighten the bike with a lithium battery from Shorai or Mirai. Also CMC brake rotors from Brake Tech. They are black and look cool too. Basically carbon brakes for the street.
I used to own a 2020 1000sx, which don't get me wrong I really enjoyed but sold to to get a new supermoto (my heart resides with them lol) but back when these came out I remember seeing one on the show room floor. They're starting to become reasonably priced for me at least, probably is I'll have to fly out and have a 2 day ride back. Knowing and being on the N1K comfortably wise how do they compare? I don't daily my bikes but I also don't want to feel like my back is broken after 2 hours or a bit more before a pit stop. Anyone shine some light on it for me?
me personally no.... but it depends on what you do... if i drag raced or did more serious racing for money then i would ditch the stand- but i ride hard sometimes, cruze sometimes, and race only when the situation is perfect (stop light, not cops, not danger, no witnesses...) so im keeping mine for now
How is the power on your eco-mode? I'm tossing up between this and a KTM 1290. The 1290 sounds fantastic for sport touring until I saw Cycle World's dyno chart. The SA-R/S are neutered to 135 hp and 80 ft-bls of torque. Well my DL1000 V-strom was just too boring for me and the motor in my Aprilia Mille RSV1000R was also ...beh. I went from a 92 GSXR 7/13 which had my respect.
Very encouraging to hear the stock exhaust figures with ECU flash. It's a pain in the ass having to swap the exhaust back to OEM for inspection. I won't be raising the redline. I WILL get the Japan 180KPH/111.6MPH removed. I hate that sort of thing.
its wonderful!!! but.... the powah is not there!! and i got caught off gaurd and tried to run on someone only to be overtaken QUICK!! and then had to hear about it the rest of the trip... so just rememebr what mode your in before u run your mouth!!
Bike has the same type internals with higher compression. The reason they blow is the lack of octane. Add E85 and you get octane and a cooler burning fuel
Hey Mat, I'm looking everywhere trying to get a tutorial on how to get an exhaust from a bike to fit on another bike! Any advice you can give me, and also, how much does mike charge for the exhaust conversion? Great Video
not sure what happened on this line of comments... BUT i spent between 2 and 3K on my tuning... exhausts you can google and from one enthusiast to another.... ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!
you gotta replace a bunch of things.... the cat and exhaust were the biggest jump... after that- the stock wire harness, battery, and other little odds and ends- bolts, pointless connectors, etc... all added up- shes still a big girl- but way way better!
i had a '12 zx14.... this is better in every measurable way- quicker, more comfy, handles better, way more attn grabbing, more a premium build feel, better breaks and suspention, BUT also more costly..... so choose wisely!
I traded my zx14 for an H2sxse+ about a year ago. The H2 handles much better, but there are some things I miss from the zx14. Low end power isn't there. Throttle isn't smooth, very on/off jerky. Seat is not as comfortable. I don't think it's really faster than the zx14. All in all, the H2sxse is a better bike, but zx14 is probably a better value.
Hi there! I'm a lucky owner of this beast my2019. It's still 100% stock and I wonder if someone can solve a doubt I have about idle rpm managing: when bike is stopped and the wheels are not in movement idle is at about 1100 rpm (obviously with engine in temp. of exercise) BUT if I move the wheels (for example in a descent track) idle set at about 1500 rpm. I don't know if it's normal or not. I'd like to share an information for everyone interested in mounting a topcase (heretic thing I know). I bought a givi maxia 56 and specific mount rack. Factory say it's not compatible with oem panniers: it's wrong. Rack fits perfectly with side panniers and remain a tolerance of about 0,5 cm between surfaces. It's possible to put a "trio" bags without problems. I had some high speed ride with topcase on and did NOT recognize turbulences and handlebar shimming etc (pilot only) till 260kmh.
Yeah, I'm getting one for sure, been looking at them for a while and narrowing down the model I want. So GLAD you can chip these, was really disappointment with the pathetic stock power. I guess the lawyers(or as I call them A**Hole babies) had their way and strangled the power from the factory. Great video.
you dont 99% of the time- the only place i found real use is on a stright line hwy run.... and then its only for about 20 sec... then its just to damn much!! BUT---- > i do have an airport runway avaliable to me for a top speed run.... ill keep you posted!
You can't get 50mpg and a full h2 is 50hp more easy and my h2... I have 15k miles no issues. Also no way your under 500lb I have carbon wheels titanium exhaust lithium battery and my full h2 is 482
That 'custom' exhaust set up looks like trash. Looks like a small pipe slipped into a big pipe. Seriously, buy some zx10r headers 2016 and a 2016 zx10r alpha t 3/4 slip on, and if it needs fabrication to just fine tune it go to a fabrication shop. And how are yiu getting full boost right away?!?!? impossible! Its supercharged not turbo charged max boost per engine speed is limited per engine speed. Its supercharged not turbo charged.
i think you have it reversed.... a turbo works off the engine once its running for a bit hence the term "turbo lag"- a super charger implys forced induction... means it spools up first and forces air and fuel into the cylinder... makes power right away!
@@mattymotorcycle1713 you do not know how superchargers or turbo charger work. A turbo does not 'run of the engine' it runs off the exhaust. A supercharger is directly driven off the engine. A supercharger's speed is directly related to the speed the engine is. Because the supercharger is directly connected to the crank it can not spin at a constant max speed. I.e. if a supercharger creates 20psi at 12,000rpm it is physically impossible for it to create 20 psi at 6,000rpm.... at 6,000rpm it will create half the psi (10psi). This is because the means that is used to spin the supercharger is spinning at half.... because of this it is impossible to have "max boost instantly".
Wow the H2 is my dreambike , something i can keep on dreaming to have. Wish i would be able to buy one in my life
It will happen bro
@@STG6_Phearable in my dreams yes , but in real life? No , but hopes are high! 🙏🏻 thx for the encouragement.
do you have a list of what you dropped to loose that much weight?
Exhaust / filters, the fuel vapor collection stuff, and?
