I did it exactly as you did and it fell down twice, good thing i had the rope attached or i would've lost the GoPro. Any other ideas? I don't see a reason for it to go off, I did the exact same as you.

Where can I get the swivel mount for the sticky pad, I only seem to be able to find the suction one, my paddleboard doesn't have a flat enough surface for the suction cup, thanks

Can you please tell any cheap way for fitting a 3.5mm jack mic into GoPro. If u can find out what usb type-c to aux cable GoPro uses please tell me. It would be great help

What's the exact brand name of the sticky mount? The Amazon link shows me differet brands. Should I take the original GoPro mount or work no name brands also?

really just personal preference, I like side helmet I think it gives a more interesting view
