Edit: I almost forgot. Yesterday I was playing ksp with beyond home and I don't remember which planet it was but one of the biomes was called hi from linx :)
Great video. Thanks for showing my comment. Another tip is that the bio sparkthrowers you used are bio weapons, which actually create more terrain when the sparks hit it. I haven't used them much but I can think of a lot of uses for building defenses
More notes: its a good thing you probably didn't go to the snake egg planet, you probably need more speed to do that as the snakes are hard to avoid.
Magnets can be used to pick up debris. This debris can be deposited in the same way as resource.
In the hives mission: the larger green enemies are explosive, and deal massive AOE damage on kill. The smaller ones keep their distance more and fire small lasers for decent damage. Yellow hives spawn the bees, green hives spawn explodey bois.
Coolers and heaters are good for temperate control on your drone, use them to not freeze on ice worlds and not overheat on magma worlds. Easy way to automate this is with a temperature sensor.

7:04 if you look really, really closely you can see that the dot after "pirate ship" isn't actually a dot, its a very tiny "fuck" :P

i dunno if cryogenic flamethrower is as bad as you think,
if you look at any of the smelting channels (i prefer bigstackD myself) than they all likely address the big problem is their gas tanks freezing.
i imagine with some knowledge that'd be easy to harness (i reckon use same way flamethrowers use gas? a medium to conduct the heat)
