Ok so I was playing the og NG2 on the Xbox 360 and this is way too much different there's extra bosses in here but they also removed some bosses and A LOT of enemies, at least they added the important fiends, I really can't judge at all since I haven't played sigma, idk if I will

Three years later but useful for other people. OG ninja gaiden has more blood and bigger/harder waves. Sigma 2 adds more bosses but also you play as two characters that aren’t ryu that people hate playing and removes blood
@phoenixwhiler943 tbh, Sigma 2 is inferior in many ways. But, I really liked playing as Momiji. Ayane and Rachel were ok, but Momiji is dope. I played more Sigma 2 than vanilla, and I really wanna give og NG2 an adult play trough now that I've had a series S for awhile. But, I gotta finish NG Black (first time, played Sigma 1). Then I'll download 2 and when it's on sale. 29.99! Jeez. Black was just $10.

I mostly miss the x2 armadillo fight I wanted to beat it on PS4 but I didn't know the game was different based on console
Sigma edition also has all the blood removed. The game used to be so violent

Ninja gaiden sigma has more cutscenes and more and different boss battles.
You can also play as other characters in the story and they have a team mission modes that’s multiplayer
