Love your vids mate gives me inspiration.
Is there a benifit to tig welding over mig for the tank? Stronger? More penetration?

When it come to tig welding it is absolute! You can watch both pieces of metal melt together
When Mig welding it happens so fast you don’t get time to see this happen and can result in leaks
And with a tank that not a good result
Thank you for watching much appreciated
      Keep the comments coming 👍👍

.Awesome job. When you're on the fronius mig, do you use 'syncro pulse' or 'single pulse'? thanks

I just use single pulse, I have played with Double but I like to make the beads where as double you almost have to weld in sink with the machine if that makes sense?

Don't know why but always thought that tanks were butt welded. Folded edges looks heaps stronger.

      Ah that’s just me mate
Yes it is much stronger this way takes a lot longer to build
The weld prep is much better for a much better weld finish
