Situation is not same with everyone. Sometimes, parents themself want children to go abroad because their financial condition is not good in India. I have seen many people who have lived miserable life abroad to support their family in India, and people think they are living a good life their. In the end, they loose everything. People in India start forgetting them, and their kids are born and brought up in forien contoury don't care about them.

I think overseas born kids do this because they’re mostly isolated from family, relationships, cousins, and they get used to if it. So not having their parents around when they grow up of course does not make them
uncomfortable. My aussie born friends do keep their parents at home and happy, because their uncle, aunt, cousins are here and their childhood spent in Australia with them. It’s more about family culture. But you’re right. Mostly families are alone with minimum family members here when they immigrate so..in most cases you’re absolutely right.

Can I ask a question. I have a PR and have also found a job . My plan is to move to Canada and then bring my mother with me. She is 70 years old. I love my mother dearly. My heart says that she will not be happy in Canada but I don’t want to take an emotional decision which I might regret later.
I will apply for her PR later but till then I will have to buy medical insurance. Medical insurance is costly but I will have a job that pays well (close to 80k).
Also is the medical system in Canada slow because if she needs help then she should not have to wait.
Can you please give me some info ?

Hi Budsyremo, I think it's best for you to come and experience yourself , and there would be no regrets later on. No doubt Medical Insurance is expensive but regarding medical system whether its slow or not , that will depend on what type of attention is required. It's true that we need to wait for 3 to 12 months to see a specialist , as first they are referred through your family doctor and then waiting starts. This is the only thing regarding medical which I don't like. But anyway I would suggest that experience it along with your mother , there is no harm in it , may be you like it as everyone's preferences are different. In the end if you don't like it you can always come back and you wont have any regret.

I live in india 35 years and in foreign countries 36 years .those people born in india they have some memory about religious practice, there for in some way some how they scare to do wrong things. But those children born in foreign country they don't have any religious practice as a went in temples or pilgrims area.or any stories with good example heard in child hood. So those children born in foreign ,thei childhood grown up in close door. There for they becomes selfish and self centre. And carry some type of self ego about their knowledge. We Indian are bent upon sending our intelligent educated children to Australia, America and Canada and spend life saving on t hem for their futur er life. But our culture and foreign co I n tries are totally diffe t entry wher r cj o Loren are not cared during free education upto a certain schooling and when the times comes for their future life through college degrees education very costly the parents asked the ch I Loren to leave home and do work for your own degree educative carrier for own future.this led to separation of family and selfishness and some hatred starts where future generations are lost for ever. But a few of our educated children married with Indian girls take care of their parents having remembering of parents sacrifices in mind ,for their children and fulfilling their wishes and pay proper respect to parents and speak in their local language to maintain their culture and united family but all this Indian culture and joint family is lost when governed by citizenship of a new resident country. So the bes t way is only to remain attached to your original country and don't help the new country of migration and this is only due to Indian parents love for their children future only but most of parents suffer at their old age when care is lacking in the most needed period of life and it is very late.people should think over it and avoid foreign citizenship and marriages with new foreign girls of white colourway may find difficult to adopt india joint family system where there are many give and take with sacrifices and tolerances for the interest of joint family .

Children in India are also changing fast like their western counterparts. They are not so inclined towards their parents. Many are unwilling to live with their parents. Sadly even single mothers are left alone to fend for themselves as their children move away either by marrying or live. They even have started purchasing their own apartments. So, like their western counterparts, they like their independence & are becoming more & more narcissistic & selfish.😢

Build your own home and life and then include your parents in that life. You take care after a few years or after they fall sick. If both are well and healthy then one should never stay in d same space as their parents. Aur ye rona rona chhodo yar. Koi genuine parents nahi rote.
