The curse of the Lightning 100 studio catches Ketch again!

Very nice wow
YEE HAW Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree James.. I don't even listen to country on the radio anymore or watch GAC or CMT anymore either.. I only listen to WSM online and just listen to my playlists on the net.. Todays Country is all popped up and doesn't have it's twang and fiddles, steel guitars are nearly nonexistent.. Thats why I listen to OCMS and still listen to Hank Sr, Delmore Brothers and most any country from the 1930's to the 1990's.. Nashville has turned into a joke as far as I'm concerned..
0:15 fuck yes
makes me think of the semester I spent at OLE MISS...go running rebels :)
Ketch always gets the same lines wrong the four times I have heard them do this live lol! Good to see the Chance seems up for the challenge of filling the huge gap left by the departure of Willie Watson.
Wow, Chance.
Oh Vicksburg,Natchez down to Crescent City, these gulf coast blues sure are a pity, don't make a lot of money baby that's alright, cause we make a lotta lovin' on a Mississippi saturday night
0:57 Lmao, smoooooooooothh. Love when they fuck up but just roll with it.
Hello, that's the country I would like to listen to, would it be too much to ask if you can suggest 2 or three songs with great harmonica solos. Thank you in advance
Do you think Ketch is having fun :)
Willie co wrote 5 of the songs but it was Ketch's album. 5 of the songs Ketch has sole writing credit, and only two of the songs dont have has name at all in the credits so he pretty much wrote that album.
Willies downfall was drugs.
No one really knows. The most anyone has gotten out of Ketch is: "Creative differences" it seems a touchy subject with them just now, so probably not the friendliest parting of ways.
Anyone else think that this song is quite similar to the song 'Bird Dog' by The Everly Brothers ?
fuck ketch is such a good front man it seems like there isn't a single instrument he don't know how to play
in what keys are the harminicas that ketsch plays in this song?
Justin Kent in my band we play it in A so just use a key of D to crossharp. But he could be switching to an A.
I hate when people confuse bluegrass with country. I was raised on what my family always called "hillbilly" music - and this was not a derogatory comment.
drinkin' 40s in the Skylark...
I was super bummed when Willie left, but bringing in Mr. Chance McCoy pretty much has erased that bumness.
why did willie leave?
OMG Ketch screwed up the lyrics so bad on the second verse lol
Sort of how you look at failure. 1 on the bluegrass charts an 7 on the country charts, thats not bad. Thats moving a lot of copies for little to no radio play. Country is thought of by a lot of folks as more family friendly or less vulgar that rock or rap. The music wasnt right for radio, not pop enough for country radio, and the lyrics were way too raw. Nashville has a problem with raw, old school country. Gotta make crap music to get radio play
