And The wall coming down helped cause the USSR to collapse over two years LATER.

Been to these concerts. Bruce plays full throttle for 3-4 hours... straight. His concerts are life changing events. He is not known for records, he is about the live performances. He is New Jersey. My home state. This man just turned 72 and still tours. Did one man show on Broadway and just released a new album earlier this year. Bruce is da bomb. THE BOSS! Has played with the E Street Band for almost 50 years!!!
Concert are in stadiums because there are so many fans. Huge screens in all directions for everyone to see. Concerts were reasonably price back in the day but with digital records now touring is their only source of income so it’s expensive now. Save up. It’s worth it. The redhead in the band is his wife. His son is a fire fighter and his daughter is an Olympic equestrian.

Bruce just turned 71. On his last tour in 2016 he played his longest concerts ever. Over 4 hours without intermissions or leaving the stage. They took a bow and went immediately into encores. His energy is legendary. Usually he plays 30 songs or so. He still is in great shape and he just has a wonderful new album out called "Letter to You". He was hoping to tour next year, but now it's looking like 2022 is more likely.

Like the time that my dad, who played backstage rhythm guitar (back in the day, bands had a bunch of nameless, faceless, people playing behind the curtains to make the concert sound bigger and more like the album. My dad was one of those guys), and introduced me to some guy when I was about 6 or 7.
He was ALL THRILLED to introduce me, and was smiling his ass off about it. I shook hands politely, but I was bored and wanted to go play with my Star Wars figures. I barely reacted and after being introduced i looked up at Dad and said, "Can I go play Star Wars now?" The guy I was introduced to laughed and Dad looked like I'd just shit my pants in front of the President. I was allowed to go off and play with my toys without further discussion. I kinda always remembered the name of the guy, but it wouldn't be until my teenage years that it would begin to haunt me...

He had that energy the whole time, and at times the whole band would move with him.... THE WHOLE BAND AT ONCE. He was personal, told us stories, told us jokes, told us BS that led to a song, etc. Then after about four hours, he says they aren't ready to call it a night yet, and he plays oldies but goodies... and then some of his older hits like this one... over 8 hours later (or longer) he finally agrees to let us go home.. Yes, that's how HE put it. "Ok, I know your probably sick of me by now, so I'm going to let you all go home now!" then plays Born To Run, LMAO.

Saw Bruce on his Wrecking Ball tour. As he didn’t play all his old school hits, it was still one of the best concerts I ever saw. His energy is like no other. 3plus hours - non stop. He did a couple cover songs from the Motown era as it was in the Detroit area. The E-Street Band has an amazing catalog. They can literally play anything. So, yes, Everybody should go see him in concert.

I was sitting all the way in the back of the Los Angeles Coliseum when Bruce Springsteen performed there, September 21, 1988, along with Sting and Peter Gabriel and Tracy Chapman and Youssou D'Nour, the Human Rights Now Tour. There were 68,000 people there. And he was so darn good that we felt that he was singing right to us. He filled the whole stadium. So much energy. Such a phenomenon. Never forgot that concert, with the Los Angeles skyline all lit up in the distance, which we could also see from high up where we were sitting. Magic night. And I see comments below praising the sax player, Clarence Clemons. They were an amazing team, an amazing band.
