Interesting. Bought a 3in pot of lettuce, think there where atleast 50 growing in pot. Soak them in water and most eventually separated to some degree. Think I saw soak method on utube while ago. Doing fine after recovering from shock. I start onions broccoli like that 50 seeds in little pot but, there is week of shock delay.

To get those plants that big in a small cell they or either using Alfalfa or sea weed extract as a secondary Boost in nutrition both contain plant growth regulators the seaweed is a spray use use on seedings the Alfalfa is a meal is mix with the planting mix

I might have to start using a seaweed folier spray next season. And switch up to 50 cell flats in the summer

Same here only with our lettuce. Transplants are getting to big and leggy waiting on a cool down. I swear Ray Tyler couldn't grow lettuce down here in west central Louisiana. Lettuce transplants still struggling hard after planting 10 days ago. Cmon October

Same thing here. We use white on black fabric in summer and under 30% shade cloth for the whole time. It doesn't grow the best, but it grows. And you can harvest bolting Salanova if you get it first thing in the morning. Keep Farming!
